What was the crowd like

Not the best GP I have ever watched but after a terrible start it did improve somewhat in the second half, nice to see Woffinden at his best but the inside gate was far too advantageous. i am no Pedersen fan but he was helped off both times.

I queried it tonight and Ellis GSA changed this week apparently and that put him above Lawson in the averages.

Nice to see another team taking advantage of the rules currently in place and doing nothing wrong, I cannot imagine who they got that from but Garry May does live in Poole.

Listening to Garry Mays interview it suggests an apology from Wright to May was all it would have took to restore calm.

Ellis Perks at 2 should have a point to prove. Nicholls & Palm Toft should score well and Wilson Dean should give them good back up, I rather think it will come down to how the bottom end go, we need one of Perks, Lambert or Bacon to seriously step up or score really well between them.

A lot of the regulars including staff bring their own, a few more bring takeaway food in with them, because the refreshment stands usually in attendance are very expensive.

Anyone know of a club that routinely has two paramedics or 1 doctor and 1 paramedic at every meeting.

If they sacked riders for moaning about the state of tracks a lot of the riders would get sacked every week, I rather suspect it was a little more than that, to be fair I have always found Garry May to be very easy to get on with.

Some very good points made and the best one If you don’t run any sport with credibility and intergrity, you simply cannot complain when you struggle to generate decent crowds every week.

I can only agree, this was clearly the way to go forward and as per usual it was fudged.

Got it in one, I went once not long after it opened and that was enough, the track is awful, shame really because the stadium looked tidy. No excuse for dust, that’s just down to proper watering although very hot afternoon meetings are always a problem to keep on top of.

Panthers complete their Championship Shield group matches tomorrow looking for a win which will see them apparently qualify for the semi finals as the best runner up. Panthers go into the fixture with a full team whilst Ipswich are missing the unavailable Michael Haertal with no facility being granted. Teams Peterborough - Scott Nicholls, Ellis Perks, Bradley Wilson Dean, Michael Palm Toft, Ulrich Ostergaard, Simon Lambert & Tom Bacon. Ipswich - Rory Schlein, Cameron Heeps, Nico Covatti, Georgie Wood, Danny King, Connor Mountain & Danyon Hume.

It’s all about Showground availability, it’s nothing new. Our best race day is Sunday at 5.00pm, that’s well accepted and we get our best crowds at that time. So far this year we have also scheduled fixtures on Fridays, Saturdays and Tuesdays, ask yourself why is that.
