  1. So sack him and use a guest, it sounds like anyone wouldn't be any worse so what have you got to lose.
  2. Really, what Peterborough fans not taking you serious Jenga. Hard to believe
  3. Certainly your no 1 doesn't, thankfully we had enough in the tank to do the job without ours Best race track in the Championship by a country mile
  4. So in reflection Keep fixed gate positions Keep the 15 heat programme Keep the match points system to ensure matches go to the wire Premiership on Monday & Wednesday Championship on any other night All 3 UK divisions running the exact same heat formula and rules Rewrite the rule book And scrap the tactical ride. Sounds like a plan to me
  5. And I would put good money on him being part of the current MC
  6. No because if it was Peterborough your promoter would have got his licence suspended as it's George English you just say we haven't given permission and that's why it's ok. Total crock of shyte
  7. I first started watching him when I was 14, he was pure and utter class on a motorbike and was the best starter for in the sport by the proverbial mile. Ultra professional with immaculate machinery, just didn't have any weak points at all. Lucky to meet him several times and was always the perfect gentleman with supporters when I saw him.
  8. It really is about time the BSPA and SCB got their heads together and sorted the rulebook out so anyone can read and understand it especially referees some of whom appear to not have a good working knowledge of the changes etc. As far as I am concerned all Matches should be checked/scrutinised by the SCB and if any rules are broken then amendments are made to the result (statement of fact or otherwise). I was under the impression the line ups website was implemented for team managers, referees and licensed officials to sort out these problems prior to the match day but it's very apparent problems still arise through neglect/misuse etc and it's clear that some referees are just not up to the job despite years in the position. The problems often stem from promoters who come up with a addendum to a rule covering generally some other team exploiting it to get a result and instead of rewriting the said rule we get several amendments and variations covering numerous instances most of which can be interpreted to the advantage of others with a vested interest or those in authority. Being honest a competent qualified referee and two team managers should be able to identify any problems before some supporters have to remind them via the internet that a situation is clearly contrary to the rules. Bearing in mind the amount of plain mistakes that regular occur the SCB is clearly not up to the job, perhaps it should concentrate on the important end of the job rather than comments on social media which it now jumps on from a great height. Craig Cook apparently assaulting an official during the SGBC Fours at Peterborough being a good example of yet another incident being brushed under the carpet.
  9. Bloody hopeless but let's be fair he has plenty of competition within the SCB.
  10. Any reason why he couldn't have gone off a 15 metre handicap in heat 12.
  11. It will be interesting to see what SHANES is like other than at Peterborough.
  12. It's complicated apparently, clearly not everything known is in the public domain, whether it does at a later stage remains to be seen. For what it's worth I didn't agree with his decision as didn't a lot of other Panthers supporters but at the end the of the day it was a management decision and they will have to deal with the consequences.
  13. Trouble is until the sport does a rewrite and produces a straightforward and easy to follow rulebook this crap will just keep happening. My only information is this was an ACU/SCB decision and the clubs had no say or involvement on the decision at all. Perhaps the answer is to email Neil Vatcher at SCB Co-ordinator, let us know if he replies. Email: neil@scbgb.co.uk
  14. I and a lot of others are not saying that just that the ACU/SCB decreed Harris rode at the British Masters and Peterborough got a facility. I have no idea how the authorities came to this decision or who actually made it but seemingly the authorities sanctioned it. Let's be honest our rules are complete $hyte anyway and are only ever taken as a rough guide. Probably the reason Peterborough fans defend their club so much is more down to the continued flack and grief given to them by a select few fans from other clubs and of course the BSPA MC. I am more than happy to accept what SCB said regarding the rules as he generally understands them better than most officials and promoters anyway. Referee yesterday was Peter Clarke incidentally.
  15. It's clear he was baulked by Holder but my impression was he just put the bike down to get another go. Some you win and some you don't.
  16. Given the choice I think Chris wanted to do the speedway unfortunately the ACU/SCB decided otherwise. The rulebook is a complete joke and unfortunately the ACU/SCB/BSPA either hasn't got the ability/ntetest to sort it out or couldn't care less.
  17. Harris was told by the SCB to do the Grass Track meeting rather than the speedway. Something to do with qualifying for next years FIM Longtrack. Sorry to spoil a nice conspiracy
  18. So where is the Workington PR, is Campton hurt ? is he riding today ? They haven't even provided the scorers from last nights match never mind a match report.
