Showground track was okay today and in very good nick apparently, which was a little surprising bearing in mind it rained all day on Wednesday.

He is a fabulous talent on a bike and his commitment and dedication to his GP meetings is great unfortunately his commitment to GB isn't and until he changes his mind and makes himself available for the British team, British Championship and league racing in the UK it won't change. British Speedway is at a low ebb but the recent drive to establish new British talent should be continued and our National Championships and National team should be entirely staffed by British riders who commit over here and not to other countries riders just because they live over here.

I agree, a cracking GP and some brilliant riding, Hancock and Pedersen at the moment don't look the same riders as last year. Stadium looked pretty full as well.

That's true but the respective rule particularly mentions riders not having an established average when teams re declare, which suggests to me that's it's aimed at teams with riders on assessed averages trying to gain an advantage.

I think that applies to riders who started this year without an established average.

Newcastle were the better team tonight, R Lambert and Worrall were both outstanding and the Panthers top end apart from Starke couldn't live with them. The track wasn't great and was certainly slicker than usual but being honest it produced some fantastic racing and this was one of the best meetings so far this year. Another great crowd as well.

Lol, I think your guest for Nielsen is critical, that and good performances from MPT, Auty and Kerr, I should think Bates is rubbing his hands in anticipation. You can always read the oppositions PR for early news on teams, some don't leave it until the last minute like others. All the best BCD

It's fair to say Scunthorpe haven't had a lot of luck this year, was Nielsens crash just a racing accident or was the track a bit iffy again.

As someone who is closely associated with a club I knew when it was released by Ipswich on "Tuesday" I thought as a clubs press officer you would be clearly up to date with developments of your team, but obviously not.

Well if the crowds drop off and they end up losing a packet over the season it's not a hard one is it, I don't know what the fans make of it all but for a club and supporters used to winning and success I don't see them enjoying this much.
