  1. Newcastle were the better team tonight, R Lambert and Worrall were both outstanding and the Panthers top end apart from Starke couldn't live with them. The track wasn't great and was certainly slicker than usual but being honest it produced some fantastic racing and this was one of the best meetings so far this year. Another great crowd as well.
  2. And it's 19 years and counting for the witches which is quite a spell.
  3. Yeah right, read the Scunthorpe match report funnily enough they don't seem to agree with you.
  4. Lol, I think your guest for Nielsen is critical, that and good performances from MPT, Auty and Kerr, I should think Bates is rubbing his hands in anticipation. You can always read the oppositions PR for early news on teams, some don't leave it until the last minute like others. All the best BCD
  5. It's fair to say Scunthorpe haven't had a lot of luck this year, was Nielsens crash just a racing accident or was the track a bit iffy again.
  6. As someone who is closely associated with a club I knew when it was released by Ipswich on "Tuesday" I thought as a clubs press officer you would be clearly up to date with developments of your team, but obviously not.
  7. Glad someone is advertising it Scunthorpes has no mention of this match.
  8. Well if the crowds drop off and they end up losing a packet over the season it's not a hard one is it, I don't know what the fans make of it all but for a club and supporters used to winning and success I don't see them enjoying this much.
  9. Management and most supporters prefer 5.00pm, unfortunately other events at the Showground on match days dictate a later start.
  10. MDL 6 heat match afterwards between Peterborough & Milton Keynes but I still think it's likely to be all done by 9.30pm
  11. No he shouldn't, been there read the book seen the film and watched him score bugger all at most away tracks. Roynon has been struggling for the last 5 years, it doesn't matter what position he rides at. The rules say 2 riders who have competed in or are eligible to ride in the NL.
  12. I would have thought on his current form he is more likely to get offered a place in the National League, he can actually ride Eastbourne and Lakeside.
  13. The problem with that is Grasstrack commitments would likely mean no facility which basically calls means a 6.00 pt NL rider.
  14. To be fair I have now heard they will have a 1.4 conversion applied for riders going from Premiership to Championship
  15. He has done 5 matches so far for Poole and is still averaging 2.00 so I don't see his average changing much anytime soon.
  16. I think a few teams have looked at him, he certainly looked good at Peterborough when winning the recent U21 SF, he has a lot of weekend grasstrack commitments apparently so clearly riding in a league that rides predominantly at weekends does provide considerable problems.
  17. Let's be fair Phil Rising is right, the Norfolk Arena is a dreadful gate and go track, despite going occasionally since the 70,s I haven't seen what you might call decent racing there since Ryan Sullivan regularly raced there with the Panthers.
  18. Holub, got hurt in his first ride and didn't ride in the rerun.
  19. I would be surprised if the MC made a special case out of him especially considering Rob Godfrey went through something similiar last year with a rider one match short of getting an average and getting hurt.
