Sorry bit off topic but just watched the "Bomber legend"...clip, still fires up all the emotions, thanks Truebee.
If Steady and King were fully fit and in form they could also have been in the frame.....i know all ifs and buts.
I went to Copenhagen a few years ago, not for the Speedway though, as you say its not cheap but a good city to visit and the Carls Special is very nice.
Great GP from Leszno, some awesome moves from the riders...
Greg Hancock unlucky not to be in the final, hey but thats racing.
Kolodez was very lucky to walk away from that high speed crash!!
I do not think Tai Woffinden is not quite ready for the GP's, mabe in a couple of years, the trouble is once you are out of the series it's very difficult to get back in.
He would have to rely on a Wild card nomination because its very difficult to qualfy with the amount of Poles and a few Russians as well who are coming through the ranks.
PS Bit disappointed with the Start Tarts tonight; must have scraped the barrel at the local dogs' home - in a pinch I'd give it to White.
Yes i bet the local ladies are queueing up outside your door to go on a date with you Dave.
My first visit to Perry Bar and my first experience of NL racing.....
I was visiting Birmingham for a short break and thought i would take in the Dudley v Plymouth match, the racing was quite good with Tom Perry being the Star for the Heathens with Simmonds and Stephens keeping the Plymouth boat afloat.
The support for the Heathens was very impressive for a team without its own stadium, they probably have more fans than some Pl teams!!...all kitted out in some fin club colours too... some very enthusiastic fans.
The only downside was the limited viewing (the track is above the perimeter) if not in the posh seats indoors... but thats not watching real Speedway .... i stood with the gf in the dark temporary scaffold stand.
