Not a bad meet but a bit drawn out on a cold night, not helped by numerous restarts and falls, Gary Irvings fall looked quite nasty but he was lucky to get up and appeared to suffer no ill effects. The scores were fairly close up until the closing few heats so could have gone either way, luckily Lawson and Bach got a 5-1 in heat 15 to secure all the points.....Bach's pass on Masters was superb.

A tough test for Worky, local lad Gary Irving, ex Comet Kevin Doolan could prove to be high scorer if he has his gating gloves on, fans favourite Josh Auty and up and coming EL star Nick Morris, Birks usually goes ok at DP too....oh and MPT!! Can see this one being very close.

The crowd figures at DP at the start of the season were quite healthy and could support the team financially but for what ever reason the attendances have fallen

Thats right but no guarantees that a big crowd would turn up for £10.00 a head

So if the normal size crowd turned up 400-600 the managment would be worse off.
