My first visit to Perry Bar and my first experience of NL racing.....
I was visiting Birmingham for a short break and thought i would take in the Dudley v Plymouth match, the racing was quite good with Tom Perry being the Star for the Heathens with Simmonds and Stephens keeping the Plymouth boat afloat.
The support for the Heathens was very impressive for a team without its own stadium, they probably have more fans than some Pl teams!!...all kitted out in some fin club colours too... some very enthusiastic fans.
The only downside was the limited viewing (the track is above the perimeter) if not in the posh seats indoors... but thats not watching real Speedway .... i stood with the gf in the dark temporary scaffold stand.
Well done to Chris Holder, superb racer.
Bitter dissapointment for Tomasz, what an entertainer
The ref needs to go to Specsavers after letting Crump back in heat 14...
Really good Cardiff GP, well done to all concerned.
Got to agree there Rob, Cardiff is a good weekend away for a few beers, great atmosphere in the stadium and some Speedway thrown in but not one of the better ones for the racing, usually the Polish GP,s serve up the best on track action.
Job well done by all the presenters today under difficult circumstances, i personally thought Kelvin and Chris would have struggled without a Sky anchor man but if anything did better without one.
Moan, moan............. if you want to.
Reading the SS today it looks like there will be one or no changes for tonights play off with Kennett being the only possible change for Richardson?
Damn, i,m going to miss this one, agreed to go to a party last week!!
