  1. Given the right conditions at clubs the sport may survive , running on a day when fans want to attend , a track that is fit for racing and adequate facilities . As Steve Lawson alluded to on a recent podcast , give the riders a decent track to race on and they will most likely entertain the crowd, it really does not matter what level of rider either . He was also against tracks made to fit around sports pitches, eg rugby, football and defiantly no stock cars. Now I realise there are many tracks in use today that are used in conjunction with other sports and we have to live with these. The only tracks I regularly visit now are Glasgow and Belle Vue which provide good racing and decent facilities on a regular basis. Although Glasgow disappointed a few times , maybe not their fault , about three or four years ago Birmingham turned up with a woefully weak team and last year I attended the Leicester fixture which had to be cancelled before a wheel was turned in front of decent crowd because of track problems (early afternoon rain ).
  2. Chris Harris guests again, reminds me of my time at work there was always one guy who would never turn down an overtime shift, he would say "yes whats the question!" Nothing against Chris , just think he is going to burn himself out.
  3. Kurtz Kubera Bellego last place harder to judge...maybe Harris.
  4. Some good words from Steve Lawson, "give the riders a decent track to race on and they will entertain, whether they are world champions or juniors." Also" ideally not round a football or rugby pitch and no stock cars"
  5. Or a meeting that gets rained off early in the season gets ran late in the season on appalling conditions to complete the League.
  6. Well done to all the Brits in very testing conditions, congratulations to Dudek the winner despite his impediment
  7. My most humble apology , speedway star average only..Masters 10.59 Doyle 9.40 but I,m sure there will be some other figures out there.
  8. Last time I looked Master’s is the best rider in the PL average wise.....too.
  9. Tried to add photos from FB but too much info...
  10. Been going on for years but seems to have gone a bit mad lately as Paulco said "missing due to attending world tiddlywinks championship"
  11. What was the referee doing when Dan fell...I did hear he was waiting until the riders had crossed the line so no rerun would be required!! Well done to Tai and Dan last night, I think Robert Lambert will still improve this year and make a few semi finals at least. Hopefully Tai can continue his good form and improve as the season goes on.
  12. Best wishes to Rene Bach and Nicki Pedersen who were involved in a crash last night Rene has a broken femur., Nicki broken ribs and lung damage.
  13. What’s needed is about 20 NSS ( Belle Vue) but that’s not going to happen , we just have to make the best of what we have , aggressive marketing, have meetings when fans can attend , provide decent facilities, provide a good race track. Get Chris Harris to guest.....I don’t know how the guy does it, maybe he’s making his money now for a retirement fund D
  14. How is Mikkel Michelsen , he looked in a bad way after that crash
