Fixture shambles - An annual event

You know it’s a crazy night for Speedway when travelling to Worky last night at 6 pm and the car bongs low temp be wary of icy conditions , then scraping ice of the windscreen at 10:30 pm -
Pass of the night, Rasmus under Kyle Newman.......unbelievable
-
Another awesome display by Workington, the Lakeside team with no disrespect were torn apart , what a team Koc winners and League champions
-
I very much doubt Worky will be running next year, I’ve been going since 1978 but even I am a youngster compared to some fans who were there since the start in 1970

Worky v scunny koc leg 2
topaz325 replied to gregory peck's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It’s very nice to hear all the good wishes from other fans and not the negative comments ( although some of them are true!) I too thought rasser got third and not second in that close heat and wrote 1-5 in the programme , some really forceful but fair riding by the Comets last night , well done one and all, commiserations to Scunthorpe who although tried hard were well beaten. Hope Jason Garrity is ok, I doubt even if he was fit to continue it would have made any difference . Thanks again. -

Not many days left in October to complete three finals and the League fixtures, the Championship is turning into a damp squib rather than the finale of the season. -

Cannot see Worky coming back from this , especially without Ty Proctor. -
Reading the report on the BSPA site last night from Rye House it seems that Rasmus took another knock but kept on racing despite some discomfort! Whatever happens in the next few meetings this years Comets team have been fantastic, fixture farce, injuries and rain offs, for those about to race we salute you. A TEAM TO BE PROUD OF .
