Although the advertising Glasgow are prepared to do is great , advertising and generally letting the public know about speedway can be done relatively cheaply ie Facebook, social media , even doing small promotional videos via a mobile phone can be achieved. This small amount of advertising is not the total answer which has already been stated by other posters but a national push to make people aware of the sport.

Seems as though H and S rules vary from track to track.

Just thought I would mention that the topic titles seem to have gone a bit amateurish this season ie Tigers v Lions sometime later or Redcar v Berwick 03/08. Not the end of the world I know but does look better with proper date and start time , competition.

Another boring Polish GP.

I along with other fans at Worky had the pleasure of watching Rasmus every week and he was fantastic , he was always going to do well fo the Tigers.

Cookie reported to have broken his wrist but intends to ride on, get well soon.

Came up from Carlisle to watch this match and looked at the Birmingham side in the programme and at first glance thought there was a junior meeting on after the main match!

The score flatters Belle vue, well done Poole.

Weather for Sunday now looking bad.

Mounting debt from 2018 and a very uncertain future at Derwent Park, Speedway was never going to happen in 2019. The great success from 2018 may have been the catalyst or go a long way to the Comets downfall. Edinburgh when they had great success very nearly signalled the end for them and it’s only through great financial help from business /fans that they survive, even the mighty Poole Pirates are suffering losses, ....success is not good in the long run.

Fans talk about having continuity with teams but some want to drop riders every five minutes.

If Pedersen has made that move the BSF would go into melt down, not good from Fricke.
