  1. In fairness I was not overly impressed with this year line up when announced and did state on here we would beat Plymouth ( much to Lewy,s disliking) and Newcastle and couldn't see much past that. But the team has been fantastic around the EWR on every meeting I have seen (missed Leicester) with the racing getting back to its best yesterday was brilliant. I did eat humble pie and tell Rob as if you can criticise you have to be man enough to be mocked when your original thoughts were way off long May it continue
  2. Let's hope there plenty of dirt but can't see it had a full program today with the dirt diggers there and tomorrow is the British youth 250 and 500cc classes after the meeting so can see it be wet to start with and dusty and slick by about heat 12 .
  3. Always good racing and never a meeting abandoned due to state of track
  4. Great team effort by the scorpions today Jorgensen was superb Allen was a great number 1 lambert did more than was expected and Macdonald looked better on a slicker track and theo was his usual competitive self and picked up points when needed, jordan seemed to struggle with a bumpy track but out scored his opposite number , rr for tero was the biggest difference between the sides. It was as good a meeting as you will see entertaining from start to finish. Having seen Glasgow the last two away meetings they do seem poor later on with the riding order as it is
  5. Shame for Sheldon don't think he would of been dropped if Newcastle we're still in the league
  6. Yep I was there and in reality if he had been less spectacular he would of scored more
  7. You could be right but on the meetings I have seen this year ryan kinsley would of been a better option. Josh rode ok against Plymouth when track was slick but against Eastbourne and Newcastle when track was grippier he looked average at best.
  8. Doesn't commit to the track looks poor when in traffic and can't ride the line he wants to . Having said that he is a trier and don't give up . Would sill drop him though at first opportunity
  9. The whole situation is nuts you ask for an interview and one is published and you don't believe it I would suggest because it dosent suit your opinion and that's your right as we are all entitled to one. Secondly is any rider actually going to come forward and say they have been threatened sanctions if they ride or is it all hear say. personally think both parties should be encouraged to have a minuted meeting with an independent mediator and the minutes published so all the subjectiveness is gone .
  10. so the authorities admitting the use of oversized engines
  11. No problem at all it was a response to east end fans post it shows Barry Bishop laughing emoji in response to my question on a different thread . Like I have said before it's a shame another track is lost to British speedway it's there prerogative,
  12. Can only see a scunny win depending on which Auty and Tero turn up will determine how big the margin is 55/35 I reckon

Maybe some who thought the reduced limit would effect the product should think again . 1 barrybishop reacted to this Quote Edit
  14. Yep seen that but wasn't it part of a private hire day so you can do as you want. Isn't that totally different from ghost teams running as second halfs under scb rules and referees
  15. What ghost teams have ridden at scunthorpe recently
  16. So with a team of 2 heat leaders 1 second string and 4 reserves we want to drop a rider . With a lack of riders available who you going to get with points available
  17. That's a fair assessment it's early yet for changes though

  19. Scunny were worthy winners over Plymouth but in fairness they were very poor and only a two man team. Torn on the result for this meeting all things been equal can only see a home win by 10 points but would be equally happy with a 2 point away win.
  20. your right mate track is a shadow of its former self . you would never of got 4 riders hugging the kerb in heat 15 a few years ago they would of been passed easily by riders on the dirt line which is not there at the moment.
