There are no set dimensions for a track length and northside has previously had junior league and British youth championship racing held there so it must have conformed at that point
-
True story But I prefer this one
-
do we know he wasn't asked to be on the scheme

I'm a massive advocate of junior racing and scrapping the Ndl would be ridiculous do you not understand the massive step from second half level to league racing. Having it as you say would be madness from occasional second half's to championship in one step

In excess of 4K per meeting I heard and no revenue from food or drink outlets

Who are the Rising Stars?
phillwhitewasmad replied to enotian's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
My personal opinion is the ratings were set at the levels they are so teams in the main could keep the riders they had already signed . I do believe it's a good thing going forward though as long as the clubs stick to the spirit of it and don't start manipulating it. -

your right in your assessment i have said all along year one is a fudge due to certain teams demanding they kept previous unused team where ever possible. year two will be the deciding factor . only time will tell -

leicester will smash scunny over two legs so if it was a fix think it would of been better to have an easier draw -

Not sure personally would of thought so as no spectators in that area so plenty of additional protection can be added to protect riders

Bloody hell you only been in the league a week not turned a wheel yet and already upsetting everyone. -
A group seriously interested in reviving speedway have been in conversation with the stock car people. Sticking point is the landlords estimation of the value he requires per meeting.

In fairness I've seen lots of riders make him look average but I do believe in the later part of 18 and all of 19 he was better than he's ever been around scunthorpe. -

I'm not Josh's biggest fan but he is seriously entertaining round the EWR . Please remember in modern speedway a high average just means you can gate really well plus it's none of your business who our last rider is so trot on back to the Plymouth thread -

Anyone thinking that young Hancock is ready for a championship place in the main body of the team needs to seriously wobble their head . He's miles off that level at the moment. In a team that's going to have a seriously long tail Plymouth will need someone with more experience even if there average is low . -

Who are the Rising Stars?
phillwhitewasmad replied to enotian's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
In fairness riders do have until the 15th respond to whether they want to be included so no need to panic just yet it's only the 11th -
I know the rain man well and he would have taken my post in the context it was meant

Thought this was a reasonable post till you mentioned Gavin Parr

Who are the Rising Stars?

I don't know the answer to that but nothing has been announced either way -
As a matter of interest who out of all the amateur riders is the lowest level you would go to. For me the likes of dean Douglas and Danny smith would be adequate reserves any rider currently not beating them frequently shouldn't be considered. This is no slight on these two who are both steadily improving

Who are the Rising Stars?

Eastbourne are breaking no rules they have one rising star in the team . I would suggest Jason has declined the offer to join the scheme as his previously agreed deal is substantially more than the capped pay rates that the scheme insists on. He can join the scheme at a later stage if he wants to or is invited to. He will ride at reserve and his position in the team is not protected like the other reserve. Also remember the position is protected not the rider so they can be dropped.
