'Fortunately, the young Briton did not lose consciousness. He also has feeling in his legs and hands. Bewley ended up on a stretcher, the British complained in a conversation with rescuers about leg pain in the thigh area. While still at the Olympic Stadium, he received first medical aid, after which he was taken to one of the hospitals in Wrocław for further examination.'

4 more years of Gorzow GP
eric i replied to eric i's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
It sounds better, but they could also look at the likes of Finland, Latvia, Norway, France, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia. I doubt they will risk going to the speedway backwaters to make a tiny profit when they know they can make a fat profit in Gorzow. -
4 more years of Gorzow GP
eric i replied to eric i's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think the problem actually stems from the FIM, when they put the tender out they should have specified a limit on how many GPs could be staged in anyone country. It would not surprise me if there is even more GPs in Poland in the future because its far more profitable than alternatives in the rest of Europe. -
I hope Grant sells pies better than he sells speedway clubs, less than week after closing down and he's selling the kitchen sink........shameful.

https://sportowefakty-wp-pl.translate.goog/zuzel/1008232/zuzel-to-juz-pewne-w-gorzowie-podpisano-wazna-umowe?_x_tr_sl=pl&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc There are better tracks than Gorzow all over Europe......ok you won't find a better stadium. This comes down to business/money, the Gorzow local authority support the staging of the the GP(put cash up), I doubt you would find the same level of support outside Poland. I was Ok with Poland having 2 gps because it was the biggest market, I thought 3 was too many but 4 is just a joke(over 1/3 rd of a World series in one country). -
Unfortunately Eurosports Events have done a deal for 4 more years of the Gorzow GP, I guess money talks. This probably means a continuation of 4 Polish GPs in the World championship as I can't see them dropping Torun, Wroclaw or Warsaw.

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2022
eric i replied to IronScorpion's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Thomas Jorgensen must need some more rides, no meetings in Denmark in July and only 5 left in August( none clash with Scunny fixtures), he doesn't seem to ride Poland or Sweden. Kennedy or Palin for Jorgensen? -
Scunthorpe Scorpions 2022

I would rather struggle on with guests for the rest of the season, 4.34 points under the limit. I hope there is another change coming. -
I personally prefer tracks bigger than 260m but what's far more important is, 'shorter straights and sweeping turns'. Preferably some width to the track so riders can explore different lines. Best of luck to the Management.

eric i replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well not really hindsight I was surprise at the time , Worral had already beaten Allen and Kennedy in heat 3, overtaken Allen and getting one of the fastest time for along time round ewr 56.46, Zach looked well off the pace in his first one. It was golden opportunity. -

It's tall order for Scunny to make the playoffs now, as predicted at the start of the year, away form has let us down. Is it worth bring in ty procter at reserve for kennedy, knowing realistically we need to win at Berwick and Redcar. We could maybe bring in Anders Rowe for Coles. -

Excellent meeting and performance by Scunny, everyone doing their job. Was that a new water bowser? Seemed better than the other one. -

Yer Tero has left us in the sh*t here, probably best of using R/R, everyone can take a ride. Could use Ricky wells or Leon Flint. I wouldn't drop Aarnio because there is no one to replace him. -

thank you Connor Coles, didn't expect anything from him, his paid 6, won us the meeting. I prefer later starts at this time of year, it just goes slick and dusty.
