yes sometimes they turns their backs on us and go , without trying to make British speedway change to suit THEM . thats the only recompense we get .

I assume from you jumpping to the defence of Peter Johns . you have never been on the receiving end of one of his bills . In fact I doubt you have ever even seen one . and what you are suggesting is better promotion etc so larger crowds can indirectly hand over more money to tuners . in any case we are speaking of whats best for speedway and not chosen few who can afford or are sponsored by tuners who then pass the cost on to ordinary mortals . supertuned engines full of expensive titanium parts are a luxury that only a few riders can afford and speedway can't afford them at all ,

problem is the BSPA will want experts Like Petert Johns and Cribby to be part of the evaluation process . and it dont take a genius to work out what their opinion will be . the Bspa would soon be announcing we have had experts looking into this and they said their bank accounts would suffer far too much .so unfortunatley they cannot approve . I would like to see theese engines tested by riders who are not sponsored by engine tuners , preferably Premier league riders and a couple of recently retired riders who are/were at the sharp end of racing on a budget . Elite riders and above dont really have the problem so much of finance, so their opinion would be more of whats best for them and less of what cuts cost for the bread and butter riders .

And I would agree , however most machine examiners are completely unqualified to pass judgement on the safety or otherwise of helmets . In my own experience of machine examiners . one asked me how to adjust the chain on his sons bike who had just started riding which pretty much demonstartes a lack of mechanical nowse . this was in october . and so you can imagine how shocked I was come the following march , when the same bloke approached me proudly displaying his SCB machine examiner tags !! and was none too pleased when I refused to let him examine my sons bike and Insisted on the chief examiner doing the scrutineering

. never mind rev limiters that can be fiddled . just more complicated sh!t that we dont need , £2000 quid for an engine which would last for a season would pay for itself in no time with "services" at £450 a time . and speedway benefits with better racing , its a winner , and the radical move thats needed before Peter johns and co buy themselves an Island each and sit around talking about the good old days when there was Speedway . did you know Humphrey . when the Speedway Control; Board was set up back in ther fities I think . the memebers of the board were not allowed to go to speedway nor have ant contact with promoters or riders . unfortunately over the years that has all fell by the wayside , and the control board is simply another layer of speedways disease. Cronyism . Coventry will be having a collection bucket in the track shop on monday to collect money for James Sarjeants fine . so waste of time the SCB using fines as aprt of the pumishment , I expect in the future ther SCB will be more inclined towards bans , since supporters will not be able to alter the balance of justice by serving a ban for the perpetrators

Thats what ha[[ened at Milton keynes , the council came to observe a meeting but the weather was awful so it got rained off , the promotion aked if the riders could leave there warmups until a decision had been made , it got called off before the start so no bikes were started , next day the protestors were on to the council about the noise . council said therer was no noise this is a vendetta and granted 25 year planning permission , shame the B|SPA had to step in and kill the place off or it still coulc have been running today .

well there are no scottish riders to be foreigners so no problem there .

The Bspa Killed it Ray .Instead of helping Terry Cheney when it became obvious that he was struggling to run his print business as well as the speedway , they decided to help themselves to his bond by levying spurious and ridiculous fines over track conditions etc until they broke him . he walked away and they graabed what little was left ,

If he was only just over the limit thats alright then . Darcy is not to blame at all it was the authorities setting the limit too low , he didn't know he was over and he had bad news as well so lets just forget it , after all he's one of the worlds best and an exciting rider to watch so just let him off . I bet Lewis Hamilton and Jensen Button go out and have a skinful hours before an F1 race especially if they have had bad news , it's just whatyoung people who are professional sportsmen do these days after all . whats for the second violation because he has already admitted to smoking pot , although he didn't get tested Whats is he going to do then ? Mitigating circumstance for this type of offence do not exist , there is no excuse at all for drinking and driving , and certainly none for drinking and racing speedway . I suggest Middlo saves himself the bother of making a fool of himself and accepts like everyone else that he did it ,got caught and will suffer the consequences .
