It's going to be a tough choice on October 6th whether to go to see Rye House v Ipswich or stay at home and watch the final GP from Torun. How can they possibly arrange a local derby on that date

Will be good to see Rye house again. And I thought one of the reasons for dropping down a league was so we would not see the same teams.

I said months ago that the attendance for Cardiff would be down . What do you expect . Every single GP this season has been down on the previous season. The gates at Ullevi and Italian GP's were truly terrible. People have only so much money to spend and coming after the Olympics a little less .Then there was the problem of Cardiff with the cricket in competition and the hotel prices going through the roof.

Perhaps Old saint should not go to Wimbledon tennis then. The forces have helped with administration at this tournament ever since I have being going there

Nice try but the Elite League would last about a month. Look at how many people are at Speedway meeting on a monday night when it is televised.. You would be lucky to get 700 people and you would only ever have an income every other week . Not very well thought out on the league issue with only 11 home matches in a season. The rest I quite like.

I thought two of the main reasons for dropping down from the Elite League to the premier league was regular Thursday night racing and not keep seeing the same teams back at Foxhall. They are not doing very well are they. We are now up to meeting Rye House eight times this season . Will it eventually get into double figures. I don't think John Berry would have been very pleased to see a match like this in his memory. Surely he deserves better that this.?

It will be interesting to see how much the gate will be down for Cardiff this year as every GP gate has been lower than last season. Surely the gate for the Italian GP (around 2,500) must be the lowest ever for a GP.. Some of the Cardiff hotel prices are scandalous but then there are three big events over the week end and they are just cashing in.

Perhaps somebody could explain something to me like Dave Love who seems to know everything . Its easy to work out that more peoople come to Speedway when the weather is good. The next thing is get in as many meetings in during the summer school holidays,so why has Ipswich got four vacant Thursday during this time

The fixture list issued at the beginning of the season showed 16th August Scunthorpe 23rd August Glasgow Why are these not now taking place?

Of course it should have been all four back in the final. The crash was as much the fault of ES as MV. You are robbing the public of a big race final. A little bit of sense should be applied. After 22 heats who wants to see a three man race off final. If ES had gone down would he have been excluded?

There has not ever been a World championship final or Grand Prix that has ever had the best riders in it in the final stages so why should things change

Who gives a toss anyway . Most people go to Speedway to be entertained not to work out who has an average of .01 better than somebody else.

No wonder Speedway is in a mess . Tai Woffenden cannot ride tomorrow at Poole as he is injured yet there is another Tai Woffinden racing tonight in Sweden who does not look injured. are there two TW?

Having noted like this evenings meeting, what a good crowd it is. Is this Live meeting available in Sweden. Perhaps the Swedish like to get out more?

Why not Ipswich . Good race track now , plenty of car parking space and a stadium that can hold 10,000 plus and has had a gate of 19,000 for a Speedway match there.

In a world cup final in whatever sport it is the winning team is the one that scores the most points,run or goals etc., off scratch The joker must never be used again in a World Team Cup again. If it was a proper world championship then the results woud be in the national papers. With rules like these Speedway is only one degree up from Professional Wrestling.
