Like other's have said, he qualified for it fair and square, and he's always been a decent rider - I think he can make a decent go of it and score points. Not all of the rider's in the GP's can be the very top, and anyone that has the skill to qualify should have the skill to do something. You can never tell, give him a chance.

I have my cheaper accomodation booked through laterooms in the Victoria Halls (student accomodation) in Cardiff confirmed... Heehee, so I won't get the 5* treatment and breakfasts, I'll have a kitchenette I can just buy some supplies for on route.

Unless the date has been changed, it was planned to be Southern track midday at Lynn on Sunday, so I'd presume that's still on... Its a busy track this weekend.

I'll hopefully be going.. Any idea on admission cost for this one? I'll be going anyway for the later meeting so not sure how they're planning on doing it... I guess everyone gets booted out after this one.

I've done that before. Depending on where you're located, it can be a long journey, and too much for one day.

Looked at that.. Nice place, great location - but I just begrudge spending that much in one weekend.

I've just booked through late hotels. I had to 'request' availability, but I now have a room for the two nights. From what I can gather its essentially student accomodation (Victoria Halls) about 20 min walk from the Millenium Stadium. But hey, £70 for a double a night compared to the rest of the prices, and I'm not complaining. If you wanted details of where I booked it, drop me a PM.

Yep already had that, so made another one.. Will keep on making 'em til it pays off, as determined not to spend ridiculous amounts on a hotel, but at the same time not sure on transport so need to be within reasonable distance.. Argh!

Just booked tickets on Bend 3, middle tier, third row from the front. Not what I wanted, but shouldn't be *that* bad. Put 4 tickets on credit card... 2 for me, 2 for others.. Lets hope they pay me back sharpish!

Booked a decent hotel since its the same price as the 'cheap' ones! Plus booking through that site I can cancel if I change my mind, or find summat better... All sorted.

The same with Kings Lynn. Though I do recall hearing that there would be a coach running from someone, though there's no mention of it in the programme I've just glanced through. *shrug*

Get any or all of those and I may reconsider not attending.

Not sure. Only the Danish SWC event prices are confirmed (see here). I'd imagine they'd show up on the above link when they decide, though I'd guess it will also be publicised elsewhere.

I was pleasantly pleased. I didn't expect such an excellent meeting, with excitement and passing throughout. Was worth seeing. Those that would normally attend Kings Lynn on a Wednesday night that weren't there missed out.

I should be attending this meeting. Hoping to see a reasonable sized crowd.

I'll be going on the bus from Lynn again. However this year, I plan on plonking my bum down in a pub beforehand and meeting all you err.. 'lovely' people.

My thoughts exactly. We were watching him and thought he had quite a good style, certainly found a good line to ride.

I guess anythings worth a try. With the right promotion, anythings possible. You can never tell, after all.
