Looks like it has. I always like an out and out No1, but then you must have both reserves scoring, in the past Berwick have tried that and come up short. This season, whether through luck or judgement, or a bit of both the promotion have found the key to success, hopefully they will keep to this method in the future. -
Berwick V Newcastle August 23rd

I think Berwick will continue their winning ways against Newcastle this Saturday, though it would be silly to underestimate them. Many wrote Newcastle off last season when they visited as part of the Sky meeting, they then promptly won, and with some ease. -

I take it Mr Silver doesn't do a lot of research when looking for a guest, Campton guested a week or two ago for Sheffield, his score wasn't exactly great. 4. Mason Campton (guest) 0,0,R,2,N = 2 -

The newsletter is a great idea, and one the club should be applauded for, but there will only be a certain percentage of the fans that get it, how many of the people that go to Shielfield every Saturday night have access to the internet. Announcements like riders missing meetings etc should be made on a Saturday night when you have your supporters there, it seems there is a need to know bases at times which reflects poorly on the club at times. -
You cant mean that surely.

If your pointing your post at me, at least have the bottle to do so directly, I've given my reply in post 119, and the reasons I asked the question, its what the forum is for. I think Tourettes has put it perfectly. Take away "forum" and I`m still proud to be a f....... -

Berwick have not yet hit 60pts this season at home, their best effort was 59 against Sheffield a couple of weeks ago, though they have conceded sixty a time or two away from home. -

You will have to take your insecurities somewhere else I`m afraid. I was asking a question, the same question that another poster had asked on another thread, as it concerned Berwick I thought we might get the answer on a Berwick thread, which we have, so everything's good again. This one. People are sick of it . You cant expect neutrals to be enticed by half a team turning up , i read on another thread that Berwick could be without Vissing and Kus at Overtaking Nirvana next Friday night . We have the same nonsense against Somerset on Sunday with Pijper and Berge missing . Okay Berge has now since broke his wrist , but he would have been at some long track nonsense instead of riding for his team . There's too much of this crap now filtered it's way into the PL schedule , between that and doubling uppers not knowing exactly who they're supposed to be riding for - is it any wonder crowds are dwindling at an alarming rate . -
Obviously it better to ride with a team of seven, but with the form that Jensen and in particular Kus is in just now, we can carry using R/R for a week or two and let Wethers come back when the time is right.

According to Mr Barrie, via his column, its 26 heats. -
Maybe a ban would do Ward some good, it would give him the chance to realise just how much speedway means to him. He has a great natural talent, one that could see him become World Champ one day, but right now he seems quite happy to let his career go down the tubes. I truly hope he gets things sorted out, realises what a talent he has, and we see Ward, Woffinden and Sayfudinov fighting it out at the top of the GP series for many years to come.

Rye House and then Newcastle, one night 26 races, all for £19. -
Innocent until proven guilty. I`m sure he is, though its very easy to be distraught after being caught. Maybe on Saturday evening he was distraught as a newt.

David Bellego finished a creditable 8th in yesterday`s second World Under-21 Final in Ostrow, he finished the meeting with 8pts, winning his first ride.

There is only a fraction of a point between them but at the minute it would be Jensen that goes to reserve, should there be a change. Of course Jensen`s big score on Saturday, and Kus being stuck in Czech, might just help in keeping Kus at reserve for next month, which cant be a bad thing. -

I don't see Berwick winning the PL, one of the teams you have mentioned will IMO, probably Edinburgh, our track is just to damn fair, but its just great to see them competing. -
Wards is a fantastic rider, and could go on to be World Champ. However so far in his career he has made just as many headlines off track than on.
-
I find it amazing that whatever the news Ward received yesterday the solution was to head to the nearest bar and start drinking.
-
If he`s over he`s over, there can be no degrees of wrongness in this. Middlo needs to grow himself a backbone and take a stand.
-
You cant be serious.
