  1. The averages haven't been updated on the BSPA site, the last issued updated averages was the 21st August, since then we have raced four meetings though it would take a helluva change in the averages to get Kus, Bellego and Jensen all above Wethers.
  2. Its beating Berwick you should be concentrating on.
  3. Its really not much to ask is it, that before whoever does the newsletter hits send that they have a bit of a read through. Berwick strive so hard to get the important information out there to their fans, I`m sure there will be no more errors in future.
  4. Berwick`s recent performance would make most people think this will be a home win, but surely our fantastic four from that day cant give a similar performance. Berwick one and only race winner that day was Matej Kus, and hugely impressive it was to. If he takes to the EoES as he did that day that will ensure Berwick are well on the way to victory. Peterborough 43 Berwick 47.
  5. Eleven passes, still nothing compared to a Friday night at Armadale.
  6. From the Champions of that time there wouldn't have been a big difference had there been GP`s, maybe Nielsen would've won a Championship or two more as would Gundersen. Would we have seen the one time winners had there a been a GP series, would Havelock or Jonsson still been Champs, IMO probably not.
  7. Absolutely you never know, and Berwick have won away from home this season, but Edinburgh and Somerset are so strong round their own tracks, and in Edinburgh`s case able to nick something at Berwick that we are going to be up against it.
  8. To be honest its just nice to be competing this late in a season, over the last few seasons our PL position hasn't been great and our season has normally been all but over long before now. I have now expectations of winning the Play-Offs.
  9. Whethers is aiming to be back this Saturday for our match with Redcar.
  10. Our promotion doesn't make mistakes, we were told that last week.
  11. I`m sure the Berwick riders and management will be hugely disappointed not to take something away from this match, our riders need to figure out these smaller tracks.
  12. Glasgow Tigers = 46 1. Viktor Palovaara - F/X , 1' , 0 , (KL - 2) = 1+1 2. Theo Pijper - 2 , 2 , 3 , 1 , 2 = 10 3. Kevin Wolbert - 1 , 3 , 2 , 3 , 1' = 10+1 4. Tero Aarnio - 0 , 1 , 1' , (DS - 0) = 2+1 5. Rusty Harrison - 3 , 3 , 3 , 0 = 9 6. Kasper Lykke - 2' , 0 , 2' , 2 , 2 = 8+2 7. Derek Sneddon (Guest) - 3 , F/X , 2' , 1 , 0 = 6+1 Newcastle Diamonds = 43 1. Danny King - 3 , 2 , 1 , 1 = 7 2. Lewis Rose - 1 , 0 , F , NR = 1 (Withdrawn) 3. Stuart Robson - 2' , 2 , 3 , 2 , 3 = 12+1 4. Lewis Kerr - 3 , 1' , 2' , 1 = 7+2 5. Ludvig Lindgren - 2 , 3 , 3 , 3 , 0 = 11 6. Simon Nielsen - 1 , F = 1 (Withdrawn) 7. Chris Mills - 0 , M/(SN - F) , R , 1 , R , 0 , 3 = 4 Read more: http://www.speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/13795/glasgow-newcastle-pl-sun-3pm#ixzz3BKSLa9km
  13. I agree, I think if we have a free scoring reserve they should be given their full seven rides on a regular bases.
  14. Whoever the second reserve for next month, Berwick cant lose either way with Kus or Jensen.
  15. Don't know, if they do its probably a good idea to keep an eye on the averages via the BSPA site.
  16. I`m sure even the local usual complainers wont mind going 5mins over.
  17. But hasn't Sayfutdinov missed the boat for next years GP series, given he isn't doing the qualifiers. He could of course get a wild card pick but that would be very unfair IMO, though I will admit it would be great to see him back in SGP.
  18. Looking at the link posted, there was "a small over running of the curfew", though it doesn't necessarily mean the last three races were after curfew time. In the latest set of averages on the BSPA site issued on 21/08/2014 has Jensen still above Kus in the averages.
  19. I`m sure that wouldn't have been the case, breaking the curfew of 9-30pm, would certainly not go down well with one or two local residents, the sad thing being it is only one or two.
  20. To be fair to Loram he had the likes of Hans Neilsen and Tony Rickardson kicking around at the same time. Loram realised his talent, and became World Champ, excluding is World Under-21 titles, Ward still has to realise his undoubted talent. Can he be World Champ yes, but he has to make significant changes to his set up to get there IMO.
  21. Cracking preview, you don't fancy having a bash at the Berwick press releases do you ?.
  22. Berwick`s record round Rye House in the last few years suggests a home win, but it seems isn't all sweetness and light down Hoddesdon way, so hopefully Berwick can challenge for at least a point.
  23. With Pedersen injured on Friday and Woffinden last night, a top performance in Gorzow from Greg Hancock could swing this years World title his way. I`m sure its not what he would've wanted but if you get a helping hand from lady luck you need to capitalise.
  24. Most teams stand little or no chance round Armadale, Berwick sit at the top of that list.
