  1. Dont worry you`ll be getting no well dones from me,only an observation, that, you can count yourself very fortunate having admitted to drugs use that you dont have a criminal record for such offences, which after reading your post Im guessing you havent got. However I agree with you completely on the alcohol, though that is not an offence the state you see some people get into you kinda wish it was sometimes.
  2. Muggers, people involved in drugs are both of the criminal fraternity.
  3. If what you say is true, then the very fact that this has lead to not only a court case but a conviction means it is anything other than pointless.
  4. Ipswich qualified for the League Cup final after winning the second leg of the semi-final against the Scotwaste Monarchs 57-37. The aggregate was 99-85. Craig Cook was disqualified from the meeting by referee Dan Holt after an incident in the pits involving Ben Barker, following heat 1. Cook had finished third and Barker fourth in a 3-3. Craig would have been well advised not to get involved, however there was certainly provocation and the referee it seems did not see the whole of the incident. There will be a protest over the affair. Monarchs' top scorer was Claus Vissing with 12 points. The important thing now is to get back up the road and focus on the Armadale match against Berwick on Friday night. Taken from the offical Monarchs site.
  5. Im sure many of us have had relationship break ups,and other issues in our private lives, yet we know its wrong to turn to drugs to find some kind of solice.Giving his history,it appears Mr Lee doesnt learn from his past.
  6. Whatever the rights and wrongs about this issue,I hope the BSPA make sure this makes every national newspaper, radio station going. Theres no such thing as bad publicity, and speedway needs all they can get.
  7. Ungentlemanly and violent behaviour towards Ben Barker.
  8. Yes your right.I suppose something is better than nothing, but there are times when a simple read through would make things look a bit more professional.Heres part of todays press release. The presence of two young riders (Dudel and Bech) who have already been in World Cup-winning teams highlights the quality of the field. Dudel.
  9. North will certainly strengthen Glasgow, maybe this signing and the signing of Thomsen is obviously to win meetings this season but also an eye on the Tigers team for next year.
  10. Barrett suffered a dislocated shoulder in a crash at Berwick a month ago. Predictable home win at Armadale tomorrow,Berwicks record there isnt the best. Edinburgh 57 Berwick 35.
  11. Having been given one of the wildcard picks for the up and coming Under-21 meeting,Im sure Adam Ellis will be keen to get as many laps as possible on saturday.
  12. Kyle Howarth and Adam Ellis will be the two wildcards, with Robert Branford and Ashley Morris the two reserves.
  13. Thats true, however I think they should also should portray our club in a professional manner, which is where I have my problem as many of the efforts we have to endure I find rather emmbarrassing. But its a recurring theme on these Berwick threads so Id say we should just agree to disagree. Perhaps you could post the details of Wrights deal at Buxton so we can judge if its a good one or not. Wright has been in fantastic form this season for Buxton, the rider himself must be high on confidence,so if Glasgow come calling he may feel hes ready to make the jump from NL to PL.
  14. True but didnt Bydgoszcz give us one of the best Gps ever earlier this season, that should guarantee a full stadium in 2014.
  15. With the kind of crowds they get in Poland, and the standing speedway has in the Country,it makes sense for BSI to get another GP in Poland. If it has to take the place of an excisting venue then it could be Prague that gets the chop, there were empty seats at this years round in the GP series and even more empty seats at the recent SWC.IMO it will be a shame as Prague seems to be a popular trip for GB fans, though it seems not the locals.
  16. Very true then as a former Bandit in the case of Grieves I hope Berwick Speedway pay them both the respect they deserve.
  17. I agree with you on the score, but I hope Screen will be at Berwick come saturday,it will be the last time to see him for most Berwick fans. If he is there Im sure the club will allow him to do a lap by himself after his fourth ride,or his fifth should he be in Ht15.
  18. Sadly for Glasgow their sun hasnt excatly shone brightly on their away trips this season,if Berwick have anything about them they will defeat the Tigers quite significantly,no excuses, just a big home win.
  19. Although I think Middlo got his tactics wrong last night,it seem laughable to suggest theres anyone else that could've done any better.Does anyone really believe that Rossiter,Havelock and co could get anymore from our riders.Lets face facts our riders, apart from Woffinden, just aren't up to the job,and we are being overtaken by nations who on the face of things have much more meager budgets than us.
  20. The one big positive from tonight for Team GB is that Ben Barker is not, never has been nor ever will be international class.
  21. Cook is riding at Redcar tonight, but you can bet when he hears about Barkers performance theres every chance his Twitter account will explode.
  22. Robson played for Man Utd,anything he said wouldve been gobbled up by every paper out there. Gave him a chance and Barker let his country down again.
