  1. Im not intending to go over the arguements again, but injustice.....really.
  2. I submit a plea to the BSPA that we should make the PL a 4TT competition,as we have this 4TT stuff cracked.
  3. Edward Kennetts GP Qualifier has been rained off for a 2nd time,it wont be staged tomorrow.
  4. Dont think Newcastle would be able to get the stadium at such short notice, they do have a certain amount of Monday meetings, but they wouldve been agreed with the owners at the start of the season.
  5. Nicki Barrett suffered a dislocated shoulder last night, but thankfully no broken bones.
  6. Offical Glasgow site is reporting Starke rides after his meeting at Buxton was called off this morning.
  7. No broken ankle for Alex,he has damaged ankle ligaments which may keep him out for 2 weeks.
  8. Thankfully no broken ankle for Edberg, ligament damage which will mean a couple of weeks out. Cant see why Starke wont be allowed to ride,he can be riding as a straight guest for Barrett or if the ref gets all perdantic he can be a NL guest rider, either way I cant see a problem.
  9. Jake Knight has been released by Sheffield and signed for Buxton in the NL,Sheffields new rider will be announced tomorrow.
  10. Aspegren is well into his 2nd season with Berwick,if he hasnt adapted to the track by now he probably never will.
  11. Having looked at the averages and riders available,I think we just as well going with Starke & Carr in the reserve positions.Alex Edberg mightve been a decent shout but he took a knock at Leicester last night, apart from him your looking at NL riders anyway so we might as well go with our own, does leave us weak at reserve though.
  12. Seems the sensible way to go,though it does leave us very weak at reserve.
  13. Happily a helping out David Bellego. Starke`s down to ride for his NL club at present,as I believe Liam Carr should be to,but in the case of Carr he will be racing for Berwick.
  14. Then Id argue that the management should make sure the mood takes him more often, everytime he pulls on a Berwick race jacket IMO.
  15. Best wishes to Alex Edberg who it appears has a suspected broken ankle.
  16. I am the man......well at least tonight I am. I wouldnt say "rubbish",they ran into a Berwick team who had three riders on fire,Barker,Wethers & Bellego, and sadly for Plymouth the riders you`d expect to perform, didnt. Also they were badly let down by a rather curious managerial decision reguarding tactical rides. Dont worry Im sure you will return the favour next friday.
  17. Nothing offical, but Im fairly sure there`ll be no Barrett tomorrow, but I wouldnt count out Kozza just yet.
  18. What makes it worse is that the Plymouth manager didnt put out a tactical ride in Ht6,which wouldve his 1st chance, because the Plymouth pair wouldve been out against Barker & Bellego,so it made sense to wait a race and go with Bech in Ht7.
  19. Overall a decent meeting with some good passing, mostly from Berwick riders, and most of them overtaking the disapointing Mark Lemon, sadly it looks like Marks better days are behind him.Barker was once again excellent, and his 3rd to 1st in Ht13 was unbelieveable, stars of the Berwick team though was Bellego and maximum man Matthew Wethers, sadly Bellego missed out on his max after coming 3rd in Ht15.Impressive performance from Aspegren,a very frustrating rider is our Robin,on his night, like tonight he looks a class act,but there have been meetings this season where Apregren looks uninterested, and quite frankly poor.So its more of the same as tonight please Robin. No one outstanding rider for Plymouth,Mikkel Bech came with a big reputation but failed to live up to that, hopefully tonight will have be a good learning curve for the Under-21 in a couple of months. What I said about Mark Lemon earlier, well you can say the same about Chris Schramm, looks like his best days are long gone. Star of the night though has to be the Plymouth team manager, who for best reason to himself put Cory Gathercole out in Ht10 as a tactical ride against Berwicks best two,Barker and Bellego and was promptly 5-1d,when any fool couldve seen that in the next race,Ht11,the Plymouth pair would be out against just one home rider,Paul Starke, who up to that point hadnt had the best of nights.
  20. As you posted Lawson is confirmed for Glasgow tomorrow.Barrett was taken to hospital by County Ambulance with a shoulder injury,so Id guess its very unlikely he will take his place at Ashfield, think Im right insaying that as Barrett is Berwicks higher averaged reserve we will be entitled to a guest.Kozza Smith was out on the centre green at the end of the meeting and looked quite sprightly,so hopefully he will be ok for tomorrow.
  21. No disparagey meant, after another away defeat last Thursday Im hoping Berwick will be determined to bounce back to winning ways, and having Ben Barker at No1 will help no end giving his performance a couple of saturdays ago.Secondly another home defeat will signal the end of any chance of a reasonable PL finish. If Im wrong, and it has been known on occasion,I`ll be delighted to come on here and sing the praises of the Plymouth team.
  22. Am I the only one thinking positively.....I guess so.
