  1. Although I think Middlo got his tactics wrong last night,it seem laughable to suggest theres anyone else that could've done any better.Does anyone really believe that Rossiter,Havelock and co could get anymore from our riders.Lets face facts our riders, apart from Woffinden, just aren't up to the job,and we are being overtaken by nations who on the face of things have much more meager budgets than us.
  2. The one big positive from tonight for Team GB is that Ben Barker is not, never has been nor ever will be international class.
  3. Cook is riding at Redcar tonight, but you can bet when he hears about Barkers performance theres every chance his Twitter account will explode.
  4. Robson played for Man Utd,anything he said wouldve been gobbled up by every paper out there. Gave him a chance and Barker let his country down again.
  5. But when Bryan Robson wasnt picked for an England team he didnt have a go at a player picked infront of him Barker has,and is making a tool of himself so far,but here he comes, lets see how he gets on in Ht13.
  6. You can be sure I`ll be re-visiting this post later,IMO big mouth Barker will not improve in this meeting.
  7. Giving the comments Barker has been making recently he is making a proper tool of himself.
  8. Dont care anymore Im in love with the Latvian start girl.
  9. It really would be one in the eye for all those who have had a go at Middleditch over his selections,it will be us and the Aussies who compete to make saturdays Final with Austrailia coming out on top just, with Latvia in third and the USA in fourth.I think Latvia will get an awful lot close to Team GB and Austrailia than some think.
  10. If there was ever an extra incentive for the GB boys thats this is it.
  11. And so he should,if we make the Final then its 3rd place at best for me on saturday.
  12. Dont mind Barker getting a go,but not Bridger IMO if he has a poor 1st ride his confidence goes, his head drops and he seems incapable of salvaging something for the rest of the night.Maybe this could expain why he hasnt made any significant steps forward in his career.
  13. Why dont Redcar just go the whole hog and sign brother Ritchie.
  14. IMO theres no reason why the GB team cant get to saturdays final,Hancock is certainly capable of winning races but theres not much after that for the USA,Latvia showed in Poland last sunday they can be compeditive but I think the finals beyond them.Next come the Aussies,Ward of course is world class, and to a lesser extent Batchelor but theres points to be gained from Doyle and Watt.
  15. Challenge matches would be financial suicide IMO. Your correct though,if you have a poor season you end up with blank saturday nights with no racing and an early end to the season, some PL clubs are fighting for play-off places and KOCs,sadly Berwick are fighting to get their season into September.
  16. Is there anybody out there who hasnt had some kind of run in with Barker.
  17. Apparently Bridger has assured Middleditch that he has fast bikes out in Poland, lets all hope thats true.
  18. I think the majority of us applauded Middleditch for choosing Cook, maybe not so many went with the Kennett selection though.Cok did reasonably well on Monday and IMO deserved another go in the play-off. I agree with you on the treatment of Kennett last Monday,it did seem odd,it looked to me like Middleditch didnt want Kennett there in the first place as he showed little confidence in him on the night.
  19. One ot two from SA would have something to say about that.
  20. Excellent post,I wouldve gone with Cook in the Play-Off simply because I dont see us making saturdays Final,so the experience Cook wouldve gained could be valueable this time next year.Quite happy that Kennett has been given the chop,he was hopeless last night,Barker seems to be in good form now so should be given a go.
  21. Middleditch has proved himself to be a decent manager at club and international level,I dont see Rossitor or Havelock or anyone else for that matter getting more from the riders selected,no matter who they are. Lets face it,things could get worse before they get better.
  22. You have indeed though losing at home is something Berwick have been quite good at this season.
  23. Granted but Dyer has had a big say on Redcar having a decent season so far. On an unrelated topic,Im liking the face painting last night.
