  1. A Berwick home him sees them firmly stay at the top of the NDL, but Mildenhall pushed them all the way, in fact with just a couple of races to go all results were still possible. Kyle Bickley is indeed an enigma, that sees him ride so well at NDL level yet struggles at Championship.
  2. Sticking to the rules seems to be speedway`s achilles heel at times as there is always the special dispensation or in the interests of speedway get out. Anyway for the riders who are racing and for those who are watching Saturday is dry, a bit cloudy but its dry and forecast to stay that way.
  3. Kyle Bickley continues to race at Championship level having signed for Newcastle.
  4. Every chance that Chris Harris will be on the phone offering his services.
  5. Personally I can`t see how it can be right, possibly even legal, that a Polish Federation can recall a Danish rider and stop him racing in a UK league. Surely the rider has a say, maybe Poland is where NKI wants to race.

  7. Not so sure that this is part of the dialectic in Yarm these days, though listening to Havelock you`d never know.
  8. Adam Ellis now taking part in Saturday`s SEC Challenge meeting in Krsko this Saturday, he replaces the injured Janusz Kolodziej
  9. Hopefully he gets what needs changing changed and can do better in his next fixture. You wonder if it would do Leon better if he made himself available for the Polish Under-24 league, he has flirted with Poland with ROW Rybnik in the past.
  10. Wells along with a number of riders at Championship level do just enough for their current clubs to continue in the team while making sure their average is attractive enough to other clubs who are looking for riders for the following season should they find themselves without a club.
  11. If that`s the same Benny Johansson, then some Berwick fans are still getting therapy from his one and only meeting for the club. Instantly forgettable.
  12. Leon Flint currently making his season debut in the Swedish League, updates here https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo%2CBranch%2CName%2COrganizer%2CFromDateShort%2CLiveResult&DateFilter=TODAY&pagesize=10&IsArrangeable=true&CompetitionId=13571&fbclid=IwAR1OJ15J_zCge30FJOgYjSjTj6oy-hinDYoDzjOXznuraelzT9DMYpFgTJI
  13. Seems that Kyle Bickley has fallen out of favour at Torun as he again not been selected for the Under-24 Extraleague fixture with Czestochowa this coming Tuesday.
  14. Chris Harris has been eliminated from this years SGP Qualifiers after finishing in 8th place in Hungary. Much better news on former Berwick rider David Bellego who has qualified for the SGP Challenge at Glasgow after coming 3rd in the same qualifier.
  15. Championship does not make for happy reading, seems this will be another season where Berwick finish nearer the bottom than the top. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/championship-table-fixtures-results/
  16. Updates from this afternoons SGP qualifier in Hungary where Chris Harris is competing can be found here https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/relacja/133362/eliminacje-do-gp-2023-w-nagyhalasz
  17. Newcastle Speedway would like to clarify the current situation with regards to Bradley Wilson-Dean. Bradley is currently injured with an agravated shoulder injury and has a sick note to cover this. At no point has Bradley been banned for withholding his services. The article in the Speedway Star didn’t come from any officials here at Newcastle Speedway. Let’s get behind the Diamonds tonight at Edinburgh!
  18. Update from Nicki Pedersen. Have now talked to chief physician Morten Schultz who is the pelvic surgeon at OUH in Odense. A plan has been made for my operation, which will take place this afternoon. They will be 2 surgeons during the operation and I feel completely confident that they will get everything put back in place. Subsequently, we must together make a rehabilitation plan for me and ensure me the best possible plan for my further course. Since it's a complicated breakup, I know the time will be long, but I'm mentally ready to fight to get back.
