To be honest if the top young Brits really want to reach SGP etc, they need to be racing in the top two Polish leagues and Sweden racing against the top guys week in week out. Doubling up between Championship/Premiership will give them a very healthy income but on the international stage will do very little for them.
Berwick did used to run a bus from Berwick when the speedway was at Berrington but some weeks it would turn up with only a handful of people on it. As you say now the speedway is back in the town there is no need to run buses.
