Weather is AOK this morning and set to stay that way. After last nights away win up at Armadale the home side should have enough to see off Oxford but a score line to something similar to what we saw last week with our Championship team against Birmingham.

I doubt very much that any Championship club could survive on crowds like that long term.

Berwick are a decent team this season so should do well at home and against the poorer team run up a big score, as happened last night. Every home rider won at least one race and as first meetings go this was a job well done by the home side, I am sure there will be tougher tests to come. Birmingham looked a team who are going to struggle, sad to see how poor Josh Auty was. I know he has had his troubles but he looked a shadow of the rider who was a good scorer at Championship level not so long ago. Hopefully he gets his equipment sorted or there will be a decision to make from the Birmingham management, not unless the rider the decision for them.

The signing of Proctor doesn't turn Berwick into a poor team overnight, but I believe it is a poor signing giving what was their to spend on the final team place.

Lets hope Proctor has the answers.

All good thanks, just got out of habit of posting on here, in fact I hardly checked things out on here for a while, close season, loss of interest etc. But now the season is getting closer I`m looking forward to getting back to track side for what could be a half decent season given how the Berwick team is shaping up, one signing to go of course.

Chris Harris going to be a busy bot in 2022 having signed for Poznan in the Polish league.

The contract Lawson signed at Plymouth a few weeks ago must mean something surely.

Eastbourne have already announced that 2022 is a non-starter for them, but maybe 2023, time will tell. Kent and for that matter Birmingham have been given more time to come to the tapes next season. I have more confidence in Birmingham staying in the Championship than Kent. There may still be speedway at Kent but at NDL level only.
