Nobody with any sound business acumen is going to invest money into building a new or reopening and old Speedway venue just to please a few hundred punters who can't let the past go. Speedway needs to focus on what it has left now. The likes of Coventry, Swindon and Wolverhampton can argue all they like, but they are living in a fantasy world. They will NEVER reopen. Speedway. Is. Not. Viable. The phrase "sounds like a broken record" comes to mind

Remember the fools who thought Belle Vue's NSS could never be built? Remember the dumb-dumbs who thought Oxford would never re-open. Speedway tracks may come and go, but there will always be nobheads like the above. 6

They closed in 2018 because it wasn't viable, they've tried to reopen and are finding again that it's not viable. Simply not enough people are interested

It's funnier with the added ignorance.

This is a genuine question that I don’t know the answer to. if it is making a profit then that shuts up R87. if not, then that brings into question if having “ the second best track in the UK” actually matters along with what is required to make such a venue viable. Oxford is making a profit, but that isn't shutting him up!
