Ultimately it shows how daft the sport can be at times.

Workington and Glasgow chasing the final Play Off spot and 2 of Glasgow’s riders are here riding for us to try and take 3 points

If Redcar win today, taking 3 points,we are also well in the mix.Glasgow lads won’t know if to stick or twist

So with Workington,Redcar and Glasgow potentially vying for the final 4th place playoff spot we have 3 Glasgow riders guesting in a Workington v Redcar match.Only in speedway!!!

With six teams riding today/tonight, that only leaves three teams to pick guests from, so choices limited!!

Looking forward to this return fixture against the Bears we’ve  done so well to limit the damage last night hoping we can pull off an aggregate win, should be a good afternoon racing.

So 5 on initial Glasgow team racing at Workington today, only Jack Smith and Steve Worrall missing, crazy stuff considering we are fighting both teams for that 4th play off spot

Riders are basically self employed so you can't stop them an extra earning potential.  But it only highlights how ridiculous our sport can be .

If in particular Bomber and Flint have good meetings for Workington today , then they severely damage their own club's play off chances

Very good meeting today. Shame to miss out on the bonus point. The cookie and tate duo is a big miss. Guaranteed 5-1s with those two.

Overall I would say it's been a good couple of days of racing. The bonus point would've most certainly been ours with claus vissing riding instead of Ace.

Special mention to Starke who didn't impress me at redcar but done very well today, especially in heat 12 when he rounded both redcar riders.

Vuolas was superb today and once he gets dialled in to more UK tracks he'll be an asset for any team in the champ or prem.
