For curiosity sake what average would Nick Morris come back on? Would he come back on his old average or would he be reassessed? If he is reassessed could Hagon or Hume make way for him, Stuart isn't afraid to be ruthless with changes and if I remember correctly he was close with Nick

What are Berwick? speedways halfway house? Surely lessons were learnt after Boxall. Banned riders should return with +3 on their average. At the time everyone is appalled and cannot wait to see the back of said rider, a year or so passes, the sport is desperate for heat leaders and all is forgiven.

While not disagreeing with your sentiments, I feel it should be pointed out that Nick Morris did not fail any drug test.    He just didn't take one.

In most cases like this it is perceived to be an admission of guilt in some people’s eyes.

Personally I cannot see Nick returning  that ship has sailed and probably for the best.

Only Nick know's why he refused the tests, yes it would appear that there was some guilt involved but people with little knowledge often come to incorrect conclusions about the character of individuals.

What I will say is 'if he's as bad as some on here think, why would promoters already be making enquiries as to his availability'?

I don't think he should be oestracized. If he does the time, learns from his previous mistakes and is a better rider moving forward. Worse have come back and if the rider wins a few races (in my experience) it is soon forgotten.

Are promoters really making inquiries to his availability?

Surely, he has served his time, and, hopefully learned his lesson. Everyone deserves a second chance.

According to the unofficial averages, Kildemand will get a new average of 7.71 next Saturday. That will leave Berwick 2.15 under the points limit. Will they look to strengthen up?

Who would they charge and who with. The team has the potential when it’s all firing on the same night but 33/40 from three riders was concerning last night. Had one of the top 3 had an off night or bike issues it would have been a complete hammering. If nothing else the lower end of the team needs to be picking up a few more points away from home. We are missing wood but 3 points between 3 riders lost the meeting last night.

Even if the team has potential, if there's room to improve, why not take it? The likes of Poole or Glasgow, always look to improve their team wether they are being successful or not, Redcar this season too.

If there's a chance to make a signing that changes the team into a play-off chasing one (that doesn't bankrupt the club) gotta go for it.

Being out of the BSN & KOC, the play-offs is their only chance to avoid another early finish to the season.
