What a novelty that is!

Be interesting to see how the crowds hold up...

Many on here bemoan the lack of weekly Speedway, however...

Four meetings out of a months salary is a fair chunk of it for many...

Personally, I think every fortnight hits a "sweet spot"..

And both on BSN !!!

Could have understood Plymouth or Scunthorpe but Redcar & Workington are normally 2 of our better crowds

Don't understand why Berwick allowed those 2 meetings to be on BSN as you say normally 2 of our better crowds time will tell.

If BSN hadn't taken these matches up, they would still have been streamed by Bandits TV.

A lot of people have a BSN season pass, so will now watch it at home getting there moneysworth rather than attend the meeting. Probably be a different audience for the live stream.

Yes, but surely they could have streamed meetings from teams further afield as said a lot of people have a BSN package and will probably decide to stay at home instead of attending a "local derby "

Sure last season it was Glasgow, Edinburgh and Workington on BSN.

This season it will be Edinburgh, Redcar and Workington.

As you say, all local derbies.

Unless they make more money per stream from Bandits TV than BSN and think more further afield fans would still get the stream and closer fans would still make the trip even with it being on BSN?

If you were a Redcar or Workington supporter and had a BSN package would you pay extra expense ? I'm assuming some will but some won't

What I mean is the management could be banking on some Redcar/Workington supporters still coming up, meanwhile the further away fans might be more inclined to get Bandits TV which could overall make more money instead of the further away fans just getting BSN. Its the only explaination I can come up with.

You do miss out on a big crowd and increased atmosphere for the locals which is a shame though, saw it at Glasgow earlier this season against Berwick when BSN were up, expecting a full crowd but it was half empty
