True in Berwick's case having Glasgow,Edinburgh,Redcar and you guys twice is probably worth it but having Scunny,Oxford,Poole,Plymouth not so much.

And Bandits will have the Scottish clubs twice because of BSN, plus Redcar twice thanks to KO Cup and probably Worky in the Border Trophy -- so that's sorted!

Border Trophy not on fixtue list it seems for 2025, it was included in 2024 Season Ticket package

Top scorer at Armadale in the NDL last year, need bike skill to get round there.

Dayle seems keen to improve and showed signs of this happening last season. Would think he will be a travel companion for Cookie as well. Worth a shot.

Peter Kildeman dubbed 'spider' by the Worky fans was box office in his time at the club. Remember him  scoring 14 points in our win at Scunthorpe early in his first season, he was bouncing off the boards and scaringly good. Good addition to the Championship. Sam Hagon rode well at Berwick last season and should be a good signing at 6. Out in Aus at the moment as well getting competitive meetings in so should be race ready. Lot of potential but also some question marks, be interesting to watch.

Anyone know when the Championship fixtures are out?

You would like to think very soon. Same as 2024 season 9 teams, Pairs and CLRC already in place BEN FUND in place. Hopefully we start a lot later than March 30th as we had raced 7 home meetings by May 18th.

Got to be frustrating for the Banfits losing Freddie after showing him loyalty last season.

Wasn’t an asset so no big deal.Being honest he didn’t show much improvement over the season. He would have been difficult to replace  with anyone better during the season with the averages situation.

Looking at the bandits team this year I personally think it will be a good season with target been play offs. They are always going to have a strong No.6 and a strong top 2. If Drew can push on it will be a strong side, can’t see the bandits getting beat at home.

Fixtures out I see        Hopeless fixture list again   Why no Border Trophy as starter!   Straightinto Glasgow home in BSN  !  Then as last year Poole at home first in League     Likely to be toughest test and if an early defeat as last year not good start     Poor  Sorry

Surely best time to face Poole before they bring in cairns.

No home meeting v Workington?

Says on website report away to Workington on 28 June (although a night meeting in the fixtures). Also has us away the following week (5 July) to Workington?

Also has pairs and riders championship a different way in the fixtures compared to the report?

Will check the British speedway website when I have time.

I canny understand why no Border Trophy opener

Always good crowd

Redcar open with a challenge against Newcastle select for Tyne/Tees trophy surely we could do something similar for the Tyne/Tweed trophy

Absolutely    We have in past always had opening challenge I think

Are challenge matches not sorted between the clubs  themselves rather than the BSPA who just arrange  league and cup fixtures so it can still be added to the fixture list
