'Blurred Lines' was a track by Robin Thicke!!🤣🤣

Rumour was he had cleaned out his workshop at Worky and moved his bikes to Poole 🤷‍♂️ unverified I must add.

A bit strange as the reason he withdrew from the Blue Riband was because he couldn't get his bikes down to Poole!!

Not what I heard Steve. My view his he treat Worky with disdain because he had already been tapped up for next season with the Pirates being chief suspects.

See previous reply, bikes were available to go to Poole it was the rider who wasn't available or couldn't be arsed to be available. Your welcome to him next year

Fraser Bowes scored 14 for World Team @ Auburn, Ca last night!

Not according to SPORTFAKTY.

he scored 8 and 4 of those were for coming third in an A Final. The results show how poorly he performed on the small 200 metre track. Basically 8 points from 6 rides incl 4 for finishing 3rd of 4.

Somewhat different complexion when viewed against your original comment.

USA - 77:
1. Billy Janniro - 14+1 (2,0,1*,3,u,2,6)
2. Darren Armbruster - 9+3 (1*,1,2,1,w,1*,3*)
3. Broc Nicol - 22+1 (3,3,3,2,3,3,5*)
4. Timmy Dion - 7+3 (1,1,2*,1*,2*,d)
5. Chris Kerr - 18+1 (2*,3,3,3,1,2,4)
6. Daniel Faria - 7+2 (3,1,0.2*,0.1*)

Rest of the World - 57:
1. Radosław Kowalski - 4+1 (3,0,1*,0,0,0,0)
2. Bartłomiej Kowalski - 12 (0,2,2,2,1,3,2)
3. Patryk Wojdyło - 22 (2,2,3,3,3,6!,3,0)
4. Bartosz Bańbor - 0 (0,0,0,0,-,0)
5. Fraser Bowes - 8 (w,3,0,0,-,1,4)
6. Wilbur Hancock - 11+2 (1,2*,1,1,2*,2,2)

SCB STATEMENT: FRASER BOWES

Monday September 29, 2025
scb.jpg
The Workington club received information prior to fixture versus Berwick on Saturday 27th September that Fraser Bowes had refused to travel back to the UK from his base in Poland to participate in this final fixture.

By Mr Bowes refusing to compete on the 27th of September he has breached SCB Regulation - 017.2 i) Failure to attend from a meeting duly listed on the official fixture list.

Due to this breach of the Regulations, Mr Bowes SCB Registration will be suspended for a period of 28 days as from the 27th of September.

Is this purely a time suspension bearing in mind that was Workingtons final fixture. If it is then it is no penalty at all really.

It's the standard month for this type of offence, missing a fixture.    Time of year doesn't really matter, season had more than a month to run when imposed.

That's right, similar situation arose in moto gp a while back, Mark marquez riding for honda was banned for 10 days or so when the next gp was a week away so he would miss it, however flooding cancelled that event, honda successfully argued that he'd served his ban even though he hadn't missed a gp which was the intended  punishment, within 48hrs Dorna amended  ruling so in future the ban would be for a meeting irrespective of time, so Bowes has to miss the next say 5 meetings for his team .maybe a simpler way to impose punishment but what happens now is like banning father xmas from delivering parcels the first two weeks in june
