That’s what I can’t understand? Also his average is below 8 and will come down again as his Oxford scores which counted towards his average are finally coming off. I’m just quite not sure what you expect from him? Kerr and Rowe are at a very similar level (imo Rowe is better) but one is on a falsely low average to start the season. Would do Kerr the world of good to be at 3/4 in a stronger pairing like he did at Oxford two seasons ago. I just find it fascinating that you are basically blaming him for losing at Berwick when Zach, Tobias and Starke all were shocking in comparison to Kerr. You just seem adamant not to give the guy a chance because you decided it was a bad signing now you must push that agenda on.

Ok well 10 is a decent score really, would not expect anymore at an away track

Bluekevin
Agree, excellent Pirate cast and all true supporters. No-one wanting change as so called fans on here.

Never said I wanted change, just that certain riders need to improve, like it or not this is the team, seems like Kerr has improved, Tobias will be ok I am sure, we could/should have had Vinnie but we have Starke who could be a help to Cairns at reserve when he comes in. Cairns won’t need Starke for help with the Crew he has got.

I meant riding together at reserve as Starke has loads of experience, whoever is in your crew you should always be open to advice from other riders especially at his age. His gating didn’t look the best on Sunday at Glasgow otherwise Starke won’t even see what way he went in most races.IMO.Looks class but seems to be sensible and not too rash. Steve Shovlar
How does Cairns compare to Hagon and Boughen, Killeen?

On a par at the moment... but has got the potential to rise above them in the coming years (if not months).

I think he picked the wrong gate in the final and could of won with a better gate but Sam made a good pass and won, Cairns seemed to give up when he missed the gate in the final. Luke Killeen is struggling for whatever reason at the moment so is Boughen, Sam seems to have his mojo back . At the moment Sam Hagon is better. allthegearbutnaeidea
I’d imagine come next year Cairns will be favourite for U21 title, despite only being 16, that says it all. Finalist at 15 is a fantastic achievement.

I like Sam Hagon, I am sure he will go far in the sport. The way he rode was like he was early in the season for Poole last year but unfortunately struggled later in the season.
