There is a running theme at King's Lynn of struggling to hang on to rider's throughout a season. It's happening season in, season out. The running of British Speedway overall is appalling also. Because of the tight restrictions on team building, rider's can't build any loyalty to clubs so they're not given the opportunity to care. Bagpuss
It's not a difficult equation to work out though.....Poland have paid for all of his treatment and rehab, pay riders thousands more than they earn here and the tracks are far easier to ride. Did Emil ride for Torun but not Ippo at the end of last season? The crunch is obviously next Monday, Belle Vue away would be the meeting he'd return for if he's going to. Lynn don't ride at home for three weeks and I suspect that's the issue with tonight. You would like to think that with the relationship Ben has with Rob Lyon and his previous commitment to Britian that he will ride next week and be strong enough to stand up to Leszno if they pressure him not to.

He may ride at Belle Vue as its easier to ride but Kings Lynn is not a small track or difficult to ride but more grippy so that may be the issue. It Lynn is probably the most physically demanding track that we have in the UK due to the surface. Just to add this is where Phil Morris needs to be getting involved if he's not already, to mediate and try to come to a solution.

Riders actually deliberately lose races to keep their averages down... What a farce.

Yes I alluded to the track surface being grippier but surely its shape and size make it easier to ride than the smaller technical tracks. Our variety of tracks is why riders like coming here. Let’s see if they apply the same pressure with Pickering. If not, then the common denominator is King’s Lynn…

He wasn't the only rider to struggle on that bend. Bet if KL was slick, it would be fine. (Or Lynn being grippy is a very handy excuse! ).
Haza
If Leszno have paid for all Ben treatment on his wrist I can understand why they wouldn’t want him to race in the Uk and the difference in pay between Poland and England we can’t really blame Ben he’s obviously going to ride where he can maximise his earns we’d all do that in what ever job we do - these riders don’t need to race here in the Uk it’s handy for early and late season when Polish seasons hasn’t started or at the end of season has finished. England is pocket money in comparison to Poland but we think we are equal paying field we are not we are at the bottom . only two ways to go pay the same as Poland that’s not going to happen the money or support isn’t there so the choice is teams sign riders that will 100% put racing in England first over any other country yes we’d lose a lot of riders but we’d have riders that actually want to be here and give there best .
Mr Blobby
To risky for Leszno for him to ride here with him being one of their main men to help them gain promotion they’ve had him signed off. He’ll be fit for Poland on Sunday though. Once again British speedway lying down and getting the P taken out of them.

But, to be fair, they know it...

Will be interesting to see what happens next weekend as his statement signed him off for 7 days and his next Polish meeting is I believe on Saturday and therefore within that time frame..... If there was a track to come back in at you couldn’t have asked for a better one, and should readapt him nicely to racing back in the UK.
