Even if these riders return later in the season, they will not be able to reach the same levels of form.  Witches no longer favourites in my book.

Depending on the severity/stability of the dislocation, i think JD could be back in a month, maybe before Dan T.

Dan Thompson broken scaphoid

Awful for Dan to miss out on a chance of picking up a title that would've been a nice validation of his superb progression

What do you Witches supporters think the management will do? If we replace DT with a 28 day replacement... who? Connor Mountain?

Give Luke Harrison a shot. Absolutely lovely lad and going places

Bad news for both Jason & Dan, hope they both recover sharpish. Oddly enough the reserve is a bigger loss than the heat leader, while Dan's average is going up, it's going up slowly due to the rolling aves.

Ipswich should still easily make the top 4, so no harm done as long as they return before the play-offs.

As a neutral makes the league more interesting, not that I'd ever wish bad luck on any team.

Get well soon Jason & Dan.

Doyle will be 3 months at best with all the modern recovery facilities available, i think someone like Lindgren could sign a short term deal to cover, I'll throw in Laguta just in case his no.1 fan pipes up.

As for Dan T its gonna be 8 weeks minimum I'd suggest so as suggested a Barker type replacement

RR for Doyle and a guest for Dan the best way forward until proper recovery times are known

Horrible Luck again for Ipswich, but the injurys are not season ending.  Doyle has been very lucky by the sounds of it, all though he won't be thinking that at the moment. Speedy recovery to both riders.

Dreadful weekend for the Witches. I really hope it doesn’t ruin there season again.

Doyle at least seems upbeat from his post and hopefully will be back later in the year. Thompson is a hard one to replace.

At least hopefully both make it back for the PO’s, they have as good as already qualified already.

I dislocated my left hip in a grass track accident in Germany in 96, it was put back in by the hospital and I raced again 3 weeks later.

I’m not saying it will be the same for Jason, but I don’t think it will be in the frame of several months out of the game.

Not necessarily, could come back & score as of they'd never been away. Can never tell with Speedway riders.

Witches still the best looking team imo, but don't look the dominant team they were 2 days ago.

The advantages of using guests for Dan T is if one doesn't go well, try another the next time. Make a signing & you're stuck with them, unless you make a second change.

If they go for a temp replacement, there's been a few impressive newcomers / riders returning to the Champ, Victor Palovaara, Mitchell McDiarmid, Declan Kennedy, I would've added Oskar Polis before he walked out. Also would Francis Gusts be worth a shot?

Gusts short term is a great shout, in the SGP2 and world cup/son thing last year Louis was waxing lyrical about him. Was surprised he didn't snap him up (until they announced the full side of course)
