Lenny Lion
So at 3:30pm on Monday they postpone the meeting that starts at Β 7:30pm saying the track is waterlogged & the forecast is bad. By 4:30pm itβs cleared up. 10am the next morning with hardly any strong sun on the track, Oxford post videoβs of their NDL team practising at Leicester . The track is barely wet & is creating dust .Β Β The track was fine they Β just didnβt want a poor crowd after they won away & it had been raining . Reading the words "Track Waterlogged" did seem a bit fishy, especially after around 3 weeks in Leicester without any appreciable rain... but it did rain again at 19:30 so probably the right call in the end

Where I was in Leicester it rained continually from about 9.30am to 3pm, so I'm not surprised it was called off.

The stadium is pretty small to be a national stadium... any decent event you need to rent another stand. I'm sure Foxhall holds more! There is definitely a lack of variety on the Grand Prix scene. There should be a mix of tracks of all shapes and sizes to test the skill set of the riders. Similar to you and Lakeside, some of the best racing Iβve seen has been around Mildenhall believe it or not. Loram had some fantastic races around there.Β
