Why has it arisen now. As I have said twice before, he signed in November. Plenty of time to get visas straight. If it is a visa issue, someone has mucked up big time. Let’s hear it straight from Birmingham.

I don’t know who is to blame but for whatever reason that visa hasn’t arrived, his paperwork and payment for visa was submitted on feb 22nd and should of been here by now

Not sure how he was allowed to ride in the matches he did given he didn't have the clearance to work over here ..

Temp visa like Lindgren uses when he does testimonial/challenge fixtures over here at the start of the season

Quite right.....not that his scores have helped B'ham win any meetings!?

As for not getting the paperwork done efficiently ? look who's in charge? is it any wonder?

Totally amateur as usual!

In which case Birmingham should be allowed to use a guest up to the points limit that they have available, they are being penalised for an issue caused by the UKVI.

I have criticised LR in the past, however this according to Dean is absolutely no fault of the Club or rider, the fault lies with the UKVI, seems Zagar would be better off coming over on a boat, he might even get provided with a new bike if he did that 🫠.

But Zagar rode in official competitions...

KO Cup and the Premiership....

If not eligible then his points should be removed..

(Not that it would make much difference)

I'm not sure how these visa's work though, something fishy happened when Laguta came over here to ride for Lynn meaning that for some reason Plymouth had to fill the visa request out, maybe something like that has gone on here. If clubs are only allowed a certain amount of visa's maybe Brum have blown their allocation on the rest of the team?

Listening to Chris Adams on the British Speedway podcast it sounds like Vuolas's days maybe numbered ↪️

Presumably Castagna is a temporary replacement?  Makes them much weaker I think.

It sort of reads that way, as Zagar is ineligible they couldn't redeclare with him in the side. I'll be amazed if we see him again though

Whatever their options they've replaced a heat leader and a reserve with 2 reserves

That’s a Peter schroeck esqe transfer

Are we sure these VISA issues are legit?

Birmingham did go public with financial issues in the winter and they do have previous when it comes to reeling the fans in with a pre-season temporary signing.

Oh dear 😅

Knew Zagar wouldn’t return as soon as he went missing for the “visa”.

Unfortunately think overall they’re even weaker now. I know there’s not many riders around though, but hard to see where the next win will come from.

Castagna Is a decent rider in the championship but as a swap for a heat leader he is going to get eaten alive. Hume is in very poor form this season also so not sure it’s an improvement on Vuolas.

it’s hard to see where the next win will come from for the Brummies, even Oxford are better. Very weak team now.
