Musielak is going to be on a bargain average for somebody next season.

Possibly, however at the moment I can’t possibly see how the top flight can carry on.  Brum going we’re down to 6 possibly 5 if the rumours about Sheffield are true.

Enjoy this year because I can’t see a league set up next year that allows for the likes of Emil to grace these shores.

Tolley says getting crowds of 600/650 not enough when they need 1000 for it to be sustainable (or words to that effect)

That was exactly the same case over 2 years ago...

Why did the penny never drop?

I'm a bit annoyed the Kings Lynn fixture is on TV!  I got one of the 5 match tickets, I'll go for the two visits of Belle Vue and 3 others, but I really don't want to watch Brummies get battered by the Tigers or Witches.  I thought they had half a chance against the Stars so was thinking of going if I got back from the NSS midday meeting in time.

And Oxford potentially not running 3 teams

Stock cars have been finished at Sheffield, their pits area ( so I have heard), is being used to store solar panels.

Heard that greyhounds have been given notice to quit ( not sure if that is fact), but it has started some speculation that the stadium may soon go to other use.

I knew about the stock cars and the pit area, where did you hear about the greyhounds?

The stock car bit is correct, the rest is complete and utter nonsense. There are a few rumours flying around at the moment and people ask me if this is true or that is true, aside Birmingham closing, which isn't a rumour, all of it is news even to the club owners themselves.

Keep calm and carry on.

Stock cars have a completely seperate pit area to the speedway. The stocks used an area behind the 2nd bend where the old training track was- so would have no effect on the speedway.

The greyhounds are going nowhere and therefore the stadium is going nowhere. Think people have seen the news with the stock cars and presumed incorrectly.

Thats what I thought. It wouldn't make much sense because only a few years back they spent money doing up the stadium.

Someone mentioned it on one of the threads on this forum. I certainly have not heard anything definite about dogs. Stock cars must be correct as it's on their website.

I suspect much revolves around the suggestion (not confirmed anywhere that I've seen) a couple of months ago that Owlerton had been sold. See the Sheffield 2025 thread for those posts

I think it will be a miracle if B'ham see the season out! Not really sure what the point is now.....

Has there ever been a team in the Prem/Elite League that's failed to win a meeting ?

Be a shame to end up being remembered for that?

I hope they can at least see out the season, at least to have a proper farewell/send off meeting for the fans.

As for a winless season, the last one I remember was Mildenhall in the 2nd flight in 2008. You won't believe who their TM was.
