Youhave2minutes
All eyes this season are going to be on William Cairns as he joins Poole in June.  However another rider to watch out for is Cooper Rushen Aged 15. This lad is also a hot prospect, and is going places in my eyes. Championship place next season for sure. Premiership berth possibly also in the rising star berth. But who with? MAJOR HONOURS: 125cc British Youth Champion: 2021, 2022; 250cc British Youth Champion: 2024. THE RACE IS ON FOR HIS SIGNATURE I’M SURE.  Edited May 4 by Youhave2minutes

He is riding for Leicester and Kings Lynn. So do Leicester officially have him on their asset base? Edited May 4 by Youhave2minutes

Steve Shovlar
Pirates could well have three 16 year olds riding in the team next season.

Whilst I admit that Poole is seemingly a magnet for the young up-and-comers, it's a shame that Poole do as little as possible to enhance young riders training. It has been quoted previously that Poole supporters would not support the third tier team 10 years ago. How do the management know that would still be the case? Third tier Speedway can be just as, if not more, exciting than more senior levels. I recall that you once were adamant that you would not go to Speedway if Poole dropped down to the Championship, seeing it as a lesser standing than 'Elite/Premiership' fare. Look what happened when they dropped down! You are still there every week!

It can be exciting but it very much depends on which track you're watching the action... and of course we all know that Pirates fans will turn out to watch speedway... but only on a Wednesday, as there's so much else to do in Poole for the rest of the week 😉 Edited May 6 by IainB

Compulsory night in with the missus Saturday and finally Football on Sunday.
