TheWellBehavedWorrall
I heard ISIS have contacted BSN for a copy of tonight’s meeting, since waterboarding is losing its effect. Edited May 10 by TheWellBehavedWorrall

Poor from Trigger, throwing his steel shoe behind him in plain sight of his mechanic who then has to walk past him to collect it. A bit of respect son. 100% agree. I know he's only 18, but still very petulant. I would imagine putting his steel shoe on is down to him or is he such a star he get's someone else to do it!!!

Any danger of finishing the match off? It is my perception that meetings covered by BSN in the absence of racing incidents take longer , no data to back that up mind. Don't think BSN says anything (sure I heard that in a broadcast a couple of years ago) about timing as they don't go to advert breaks. The thing that others have mentioned to me is that people watching at home know the gate choice, changes etc before people who have paid to go to the stadium (doesn't bother me). TheWellBehavedWorrall
Off the top of my head, we had to endure a 15 minutes wait between heats 3 and 4, then a 32 - yes, 32 - minutes wait between heats 12 and 13. I actually thought BSN did their best to plug those ridiculous gaps. An utterly dreadful advert for speedway, that circuit. No wonder Plymouth can’t find a main sponsor. Who wants associated with that?

I'm not sure it is personally...certainly not like when TNT/Eurosport/Sky are in town. I just think that certain promotions make zero effort to make any time up if/when incidents happen, whether that be air fence deflations or extended track grading. Yes it was a 7pm parade on a Saturday night with what looked like loads of kids in (judging by the "track invasion") but there was a match to get on.
gjcone44
im just glad someone is making an effort to keep speedway running in that area, its ok for us doom mongers to call it out but people there looked to enjoy it. hot weather and it didn't become a dust bowl.
