I actually thought the size of the crowd was a bit disappointing considering who the opposition were .Where I stand on the back straight it was less crowded than usual .

Anyway we set up a gaters track for a meeting against Poole probably wasn't the best idea , though they were the better team on the night . Bomber apart we weren't at our best

Disappointing after our away heroics , but thats speedway , we move on .

Poole look to be the team to beat again this season

That was a gaters track was it Paul ? Why were the Glasgow riders using the inside line while Poole used the dirt on the outside line ? You ain't going to pass if your not chasing the dirt.

Poole were the better team from the off and raced Ashfield like it was their home track ,which is no surprise. But Glasgow had an off night, we take it on the chin and admit to having a poor night without looking for excuses.

Just think what the Pirates will do when all 1-7 are firing together!!

Kerr was much better which definitely helped and Tobias was terrific, a good all round team performance. I would keep the team riding positions as they were last night, Rowe at 5 and Kerr at 4 seemed to work.

I'd probably be more concerned by what your bottom three scored this evening.

Berwick are a shambles season after season so it’s to be expected. When you consider the money that’s been put into making Glasgow successful it’s got to be pretty frustrating some of the riders they sign.

I sometimes wonder if Cami actually watches the racing with some of his after match soundbites.

Poole were just the better side is his latest , personally out with Bomber Poole were the far better side by a distance.

Hopefully Dan will be back soon, if last nights performance is an indication on how things are going then we are in trouble.

Just say it how it is we were beaten by a superior team on the night it’s that simple.

It certainly didn’t look a gaters  track.Rowe,Thompson and Kerr certainly passing.Bomber probably loved that track prep.Flint is OK if he gates,Howarth struggled a bit and the reserves really struggled.

Freddie’s scored his average 1+1  ,Max scored double his 2 average so think our reserves scored pretty well

As long as you’re happy with them.Like you point out doing their job. Personally if the Top 5 have an off day this is what will happen.

it was just a blip

Possible but what was noticeable was a lack off speed some of our top 5 had or the need to adapt to the track after there first rides.

On the other hand our opponents adapted to the track far better and considerably quicker than we did outwith Bomber.

Poole fully deserved the win and looked more like the home team because they adapted to the conditions quicker that’s got to be a worry.

Toby Thompson was very impressive considering he had never ridden it before, and it wasn’t just gating.

Zach is captain unless he isnt riding.

Why wasn't he riding?

Hasn't he just signed for his Polish team?

The Glasgow fixtures was in his schedule since the fixtures came out. UK used to get priority unless it was a rearranged fixture, if rider wasn't contracted at the start of the season. Does Poland always get priority now?

Poland dictates so yes.

Definitely, Kyle and Leon avoided the dirt and stuck to the inside line to no avail whilst Poole adapted quickly. There was an inevitability about the meeting after the ht11 break. We are not as good as we think.

Poole are far from last years team in terms of strength and quality. So last night came as a pleasant surprise that we turned over the clear favourites for this season on their own patch. Wonder what the score would have been if Boughen had been riding instead of Barker.
