Poole Pirates Vs Redcar Bears June 11th

Recommended Posts

Looks like Riss only has one bike also... why was it left to the junior guest to provide Riss with a replacement bike! Not a great look.

Just seen Riss has got 2 bikes in the pits, the other one obviously not ready to go.

He's got two bikes there. Whats the point of having two if he's not going to use the other??

I can understand his mechanic was with him on track at the time... but for Joe Thompson to supply the replacement 🤔 🤷‍♂️

Track is a bit choppy

Not compared to how it used to be... remember the big hole going into turn 3 🕳😁

Lawson is flying.

Huge 5-1 from Kerr and Cook a couple of races ago. Redcar are patched up, but Poole are a different class. Massively underestimated this season, including by me.

Lawson looks very high on confidence... Edwards is a big miss for the Bears

Decent comeback from Redcar to stem the flow... they could easily have been sunk without a trace after those first 2 heats.

Bit of miss management there by Poole, going with Thomson in heat 15. 12 points in it for the bonus points is doable for Redcar now.

True i thought Kerr was going to be out, although I can't see any Poole rider struggling at Redcar. Individually they all like it, so will be interesting!

King didn't sound very convinced about Redcar getting the BP!

Most Bears fans predicted a 10 point defeat so we weren’t too far off.

Comfortable win for a strong Poole team who will only get stronger when Cook finds his form and Cairns comes in. The Team to beat as usual.

For the Bears to win they would have needed everything to go in their favour and It didn’t. Losing the toss in Heat 1 and conceding 2 5-1’s was the worst possible start. Danny rode well , Thompson did ok (but the track would have suited Jason tonight) but Charles and Erik weren’t at their best and the tail was very long. Mulford needs to show more away from home.

Couple of decent races early on but racing deteriorated as the meeting went on with very little passing after turn 2.

BSN are far superior to Dicovery.Very good Presenters asking the right questions and keeping it ticking over nicely.Well Done too them.

I'm very tempted to subscribe to them, it's a lot of money to me, being a single homeowner with not the greatest paying job of all time, but I've heard nothing but good things about BSN and do miss my speedway fix from time to time.

100% worthwhile, especially at the business end of the season where they have all the semis and finals (championship)
