Ipswich v Leicester Monday 23rd June Live on TV

Hope there is plenty of watering, no one wants to see a blue groove on TV.

Phrases I'm expecting to see tonight,,, boring racing, follow my leader,, hardly any passing, have they run out of water,, it's all round the inside,, that should do for starters, oh and where is the crowd,

All of the above will be in full use later. We know the drill by now.

TV UK Speedway Bingo!!:D...

It could catch on!...

All could possibly be applicable apart from the crowd one I would say....

Decent crowds at Ipswich each week...

Unfortunately like most venues,, the attendance drops when tv is there,, and due to its large capacity,, it makes it look worse than it actually is.

Oh, and can I add, people actually pay to watch this schitt, and no wonder speedway is dying in this country to the bingo list.

I take it you weren't there for the Sheffield meeting - was a great night's entertainment and nothing like that.

Actually I was there. And it was one of the best I've at Foxhall for many many many years

Thing is, I have seen quite a few clips online from Ipswich over the last few seasons, dust isn’t something that springs to mind like other tracks I could mention that are always dry as a bone.

For anyone coming who has to cross the Orwell bridge, be warned one lane closed and 40mph, been absolute chaos. Allow plenty of time to arrive.

Don’t think it was a coincidence that leading up to that Sheffield meeting, after a bone dry Spring where there seemed to be blue grooves at most places, we had a fair bit of heavy rain the days proceeding that meeting. That resulted in an excellent race track that provided plenty of entertainment.

Unfortunately since then, we’ve had a bit of a drought again! Warm weather and little rain means it’s incredibly hard to get enough water down in to the track before it evaporates. Could have done with a downpour or two today..

Decent crowds at Ipswich each week is true although deffo peaked on BH Monday vs kings Lynn, biggest crowd I’ve seen for a while!

I do think TV / Streaming angles aren’t great at foxhall though, they base themselves normally so you can’t actually see everyone on bend one and two and then because of the stock car track you don’t see hardly any of the stand on the back straight.

I'll go for: Ipswich 50 - 40 Leicester

I think it could be closer than that. Depends on how well Jason performs. Looking at yesterday’s Polish matches, the Leicester contingent did well so a close competitive meeting looks to be on the cards. Good luck to both teams and hopefully an injury free meeting.

Wish I'd seen your post earlier took us over 2 hours to do an hours journey.  Could have watched on TNT but can't stand the drones eye view, wish I'd brought my fishing net I might have sorted it out once and for all !!
