Is Jack Holder not riding for Sheffield tonight? According to the BSN Stats site it has Sheffield using R/R at Number 1

His kid is poorly and it's R/R according to the Updates site.

Best wishes to mini Holder and hope it nothing too serious

Should be no facility for that though....

Think you can overlook that for a 'late family emergency' which is how it was put on SM.

Rider Replacement will operate for Jack Holder due to a late emergency family issue.

Presumably he won't be travelling to the GP then.......

50 - 40. Not the dicking predicted

indeed but i rather suspect the dicking was assuming a full strength Tigers - lets hope nothing seriously wrong with Holder Jnr. irrespective of joking about injuries etc if one of your kids is ill - you'd certainly be taking time off work for it! In fact I had to do it a couple of times myself years back!

Nice to see Tobi on form, best he has ridden Owlerton since he left.

Didn’t feel like the result was ever in doubt, but with Jack missing it wasn’t the comfortable win that most were predicting. Perhaps led to some better racing as a consequence of Jack not being there as it equalised the team somewhat

Hopefully so. Because it will mean his. youngster is ok.

At the beginning of the season you could have expected that your £25 admission, £3 parking & £4 programme fee would have allowed you to see Jack Holder, Tai Woffinden and Michael Jepsen Jensen 🤔

Yes this goes someway to proving (what some people say) that British Speedway doesn't really need expensive star riders draining their coffers to produce a good meeting. Like you say it levelled this meeting out somewhat.

Of course he will. Only the UK you’d miss for anything.

As long as he gets a ban for the meeting on Monday, I'll be happy.

Craig Cook has been banned 2 times this season for missing meetings for a non speedway injury.

Was disappointed last week's Glasgow v Scunthorpe meeting was cancelled as I wanted to see if Jake Allen was banned for missing Scunthorpe's meeting the previous Friday.

Family emergency is a bit different to catching colds!
