Don't think you can argue against ss point that the public want to see the best riders  in ht15,irrespective of score,its what the fans want so give it to them

People pay good money to see the best riders. Thats why in the main you put your best riders in ht 15.Another stupid comment.

A lot of promoters would rather have cheaper riders in heat 15 if the result is not in doubt.

Nominations are at Team Managers discretion so you do not have to use best riders.

Thanks to those who replied with their assumptions. I just wanted to know if anything was officially announced e.g. bike problems, aggravated an injury, heat exhaustion.

No if the meeting is won and bonus point is won them you don’t put your best riders in heat 15

The other week against Belle Vue we used Danny King and was so good seeing him beat Kurtz and Bewley 

Let’s hope you aren’t way ahead in a meeting and still use Lawson and then he gets injured in a race he doesn’t need to be in

These guys are professionals.   They will earn hundreds of pounds if they win Heat 15.

A big hitter will be unhappy to be "rested" from the race in case he gets hurt.......

Just make the rule that heat 15 is between the top 2 scorers on the night, then there is no arguments.

Would be plenty of arguments. Say a rider retires leading his first race then reels off 3 easy wins but cant race in a last heat decider because two riders who have had an extra ride and got 10 points are the top two? Should always be able to choose who you want in heat 15, its called the nominated riders heat for a reason.

As far as the result/points were concerned, the meeting was done n dusted. Dec and Luke had been taken out of rides earier on... Rob gave them the opportunity to get more track time and chance to earn some more pennies... IMO, nowt wrong with that. As a big fan of Luke Harrison, I was pleased to see him nominated for ht15.

Because Danny was one of the best  riders on that night.Got a paid max . There were others you could have chosen. Dont worry about Lawson he is having a fantastic season.
