This week's meeting raced when there is a SEC round on. Seems to be a lot of clashes with other meetings for them to be important.

So what is the Glasgow's promotion stance on this. Do they support Dan and Leon riding in it or did they ask them to pull out a la Kemp? Do they consider the guests are even adequate? Two riders with considerably lower averages, neither of who have ridden at Shielfield before. Supporters deserve to know the promotions view on this. Allied sponsor team GB I think, so might be more pressure for the Glasgow guys to ride for GB than Kemp.

Allied sponsor Glasgow so you'd expect, f they were to use any influence at all, it would be to get Leon and Dan excused from going to France that well known hotbed of speedway finals.

Huge difference between true FIM events (ie, World Championships) and those under the banner of FIM Europe, which are in the main a growing series of events organised for Polish TV.

Very poor fixture Planning.Im sure that Event would be on FIM fixtures.Considering the make up of Tigers& Bandits it would have been obvious that certain riders would have been in contention for places( probably thought GB wouldn’t make Final).Takes the gloss of what is normally a looked forward too fixture from both sets of fans.Thats Speedway.
Mgas
Saturday may be “poor planning” and a “guest fest” but I’m still going to pay my money and sit in the same seat I always do and watch live speedway. It’s not ideal it’s not even close to perfect. It’s what we’ve got. I’d rather be there and watch it than not. I could be way worse, we could all be Birmingham fans or one of the other many now gone clubs. But that’s a different discussion for a different thread. I’m looking forward to two exciting meetings.

To the best of my knowledge neither of these competitions are usually broadcast on Polish TV (except possibly when staged in Poland) And why would Polish TV wish to broadcast the European Pairs in competition with the Polish Championship Final on the same day. The list of winners is hardly stellar: https://pl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mistrzostwa_Europy_par_na_żużlu As for the Euro Junior Teams it's been going since 2008 and the main feature is the constant hanging of the upper age limit. Funnily enough I've just written an article about an event that exactly fits your description - the World Speedway League.
