Bagpuss
I think Michelsen can count himself rather unlucky. The Tai one is very odd.

I would however say this is the strongest line up in years for a SGP series
therefused
It’s a shame Doyle is in as I was looking forward to Gavans meltdown
PersonalResponsibility
"Shall we get a new face in? Someone young, exciting, fresh or should we stick with an old face, someone we at least know will be challenging at the top end?" "What about if we just did neither?" What a strange 3rd pick.

Farcical Left out last season …. Has a serious crash that ended his season early So in what way is he a better selection than Michelsen or Vaculik or even Kvech? Wasn’t good enough in 2024 in arguably a weaker line up … has missed a whole season so who knows how good he will be …. Awful choice
SPEEDY69
Woffinden is lucky here I think, given his performance the last series he was in. Doyle has not had many wildcards previously and did show he can make the finals of GPs even though he was badly injured this season. Fricke is always going to be around the 'not just made the top 6/7/8' I think. The format and any qualification changes may bring some interest otherwise I think there'll be little drama on show. Is it that strange though when you see how SGP works, money, money, money and Monster is the sponsor, who sponsors Tai? Oh yeah! Who got most social media and news media clicks from a crash that went beyond speedway, and they probably think they can create a ‘comeback story’ from it! I think it’s a farce personally but then I’ve thought that for a few years! Edited 2 hours ago by ShanoXtra .

MattB
Monster's influence and the publicity they hope it generates must be the reason for Tai's involvement. Even allowing for his injuries, we saw nothing in 2024 to warrant his place in the GP again

Phannan
Would like to have seen Parnitskyi in the lineup as I definitely think he would have added something new and raw and also be unfazed by the opposition. The powers that be obviously rate him by naming him reserve . He’ll get his chance as there’ll definitely be injuries . Difference is he won’t get a run at it and grow into it , just the odd opportunity. As for Tai . Shocked with that though it definitely adds interest.
