Don't think its a team thing, you have capable experienced riders going full pelt but can't make any ground at all when the same riders make ground and pass on most other tracks but going backwards on this track something is wrong with the track.

you just joined to troll the Comets Sprockett because that is how you are coming across.

Interesting that Workington have gotten the aggregate point over both Glasgow & Poole in the league, yet won't make the play-offs.

Obviously on their day can put in good performances but not often enough.

Of course they'd have been closer without 2 points deducted.

Can you stop mentioning him now please.

There's no better sight than Chris Harris scraping the airfence to make a pass, at any track, but instead today we've seen the Workington riders making passes inside and out, quite a decent entertaining meeting.  Well done Workington, good team effort.

thank you, it was always going to require a good team effort to beat a Tigers team who have generally been very strong at away from home and that is something we have struggled with on a consistent basis. UTC .

Track has been much slicker lately than it was today. Plenty of opportunities to pass, sure I remember Hook going round Harris, most other Comets had to produce at least one pass today, and both Tigers managed to relegate Batch to the back in ht 13 (after he'd also come from the back in an earlier ht). Some of what I'm reading on here is utter nonsense, I've seen a hell of a lot worse meetings than that.

Spot on Kev. Steve is still learning re track prep he will tell you this himself. He has not been helped by weeks of bone dry weather. He roughed the track up this week in an attempt to get more water into the surface and provide a bit more of an outside line but you can't beat a bit of rain.

I would just like to say thank you to all the Tigers fans who made the journey to Worky today, you guys are a credit to not only Glasgow Tigers but speedway in general.👌

I was a neutral today and enjoy going to both tracks.

The Workington track has the potential to be one of the best in the country but 1 pass in the first 10 heats was poor and wasn’t great last week either.

The racing in the last 5 heats were brilliant especially Jacob Hook who went round the outside of bomber. Bomber looked slow today.

As for all the Glasgow fans mentioning Facenna and their wonderful track they must have short memories from the pre Facenna days and the tight Ashfield.

Unless someone has a million quid to lose some teams are unable to change shape of their track etc.

Good track or bad track ?  Tiggers only had 3 heat winners can't win a meeting without winning heats !!  Well done to the comets did not see that result coming, think their was several passes throughout the meeting, thanks for the Tigger fans for coming down, the better team won on the day . we produce some strange results through the year, if Godfrey and co did not pinch 2 points off us, we could be on the edge of the play offs. Whatever UTC 😄

I wouldn’t even entertain them mate. Ignore them.

If you’re a neutral and that’s your first meeting, you’re never coming back. End of.

I'm a neutral - that was my first meeting I've seen at Northside - I'll be back. End of.....

Only dust at norhside was from cammi,s car rushing out the carpark 🤣

That is funny as Cami often leaves very quickly after a loss, however the dust was horrendous up at bend 1/2, so much so My pen wouldn't work on my programme, stopped filling it in after heat 9, second time there, 1st time I was in the stand at back straight,no dust but was frozen in the shade. Need to find a better position next time. Well done  Comets better team on the day. Felt like the past when we were really bad and success was getting 30 away from home.

Tbf Cami didn't really blame the track apart from saying it was really slick.

Well hope they used to it as be slick on Weds!

Fully expect Wednesday to be as slick as a motorway, win at all costs, gate and go, follow the leader

Great win for the Comets and a fine team performance .

Well done lads .

The comments from a few Glasgow fans is simply embarrassing , fortunately there are plenty of decent Tigers fans who took the defeat as it was , ie a bad day all round not like some who blamed the track and lack of passing , maybe I was at a different meeting.

Good to see plenty of Glasgow fans at Worky , I hope you go on to win the title .

We do need to get a grip on the dust, it's not acceptable to paying fans or a good selling point when trying to recruit new fans. You should be able to watch from were you wish without getting covered end of.

On the edge, but unlikely to make it. You'd need to win all remaining points (possible), rely on Edinburgh getting nothing from their remaining fixture (likely) and make up the points difference (questionable). A good side let down by inconsistency.
