Poole vs Glasgow KOC SF 1st leg 27/08/25

Recommended Posts

The guests we've had for Nagel have been...from memory all absolutely shocking. I'm sure if you add up all the points they have scored over how many matches it's been he would've scored more in 1 match.

I hope if it comes down to a Poole v Glasgow final for the league i hope he's available for both legs.....as obvs i'd love the Poole fans to see him in action 😉

Lawson simply immense. Defying logic to be honest, rarely has a duff ride.

Glasgow fans would have posted something similar if this forum was here 40+ years ago

?? Richard Lawson wouldn’t even have been born 40+ years ago!!!

I'm fully aware Richard wasn't born 40 years ago.....I'm making reference to his dad, Steve Lawson, Tigers Legend .

52 with 2 heat leaders getting 3 each is a good knock

Agreed. Let's hope they perform better at Glasgow. As for Sept 7th, no doubt Glasgow will want a rain off which must be a possibility for Scotland.

If this is correct, it’s a disaster for Glasgow 😡

Yeah this is not great if true, with Nagel in the Tigers team I fancied you guys to be lifting the silverware.  The number of meetings he has now missed has to be extremely frustrating for everyone at Glasgow.

It’s the number of important meetings that will frustrate Tigets fans. It will be a tough ask for them if he does miss 2nd leg.It is a tough ask anyway but doable if he is there.

Difficult call. Possibly Thompson & Flint below expectations but this certainly applied to Rowe and Kerr at Poole. Will be an interesting return leg, particularly if Nagel absent.

Well done getting the score LBW!  You and Shovvy should meet up before every meeting for a flat white as it is working wonders for the Pirates!

Shovvy and LBW the best Poole double act since Holder and Ward!

Or Waldorf and statler....on a serious note I think the Poole team may have done just enough to win over two legs, if Glasgow had kept it to 9-10 pts they may be favourites but its not over yet..........

I think we should be ok whether Nagel is there or not but obviously easier if he was not there. We will definitely need Lewi to sort his machinery, can't believe it, about time he got it sorted, nobody has as many issues as he does with his bike.

Anders was poor too after some better performances lately, he seemed to bottle it a bit in a couple of his rides which is not like him at all.
