Annoyingly i am not in town for this, expect a home win - but maybe the Witches to sneak the BP at Foxhall a week later - which again annoyingly I will miss as i am back in Sheffield that week!

Matters little now, almost certainly going to finish Ipswich top, Sheffield second so this result is pretty irrelevant. Order of the day will be to make sure nobody does anything silly with the play offs less than a fortnight away..

In fact, it’ll take a couple of really strange results for the table not to finish Ipswich, Sheffield, Leicester, Belle Vue.

Ipswich v Belle Vue

Leicester v Sheffield.

Matters to me spending all that money and time to go watch,, because of that I'm hoping they keep it close,,, I would imagine we will actually take a big beating though,,

Why a couple of strange results ? Surely all it needs is Sheffield to win at Ipswich ? They would be favourites to win their other 2 wouldn't they ? Admittedly it's very unlikely that Ipswich will lose at home, but maybe the lure of an 'easier' semi against Belle Vue could inspire the Tigers. 😉

Of course, I meant in terms of the result not the racing. The result simply doesn’t matter here in the scheme of things. But I hope there’s some good racing for you and those that attend.

The “couple” of strange results was involving Leicester not picking up points expected to change the overall table involving the finishing order of all fours clubs, not just Ipswich and Sheffield. Belle Vue could still finish third but it would take some strange results for that to happen.

Thought Ipswich would have Emil at 5 as he is usually a force round Owlerton, but obviously gives them a strong middle order. Adam Ellis on paper is a loss for riding at Sheffield but he hasn’t scored big since he left the club, Dan Thompson could be a busy man he always wins a few races.

Sheffield will be feeling it after a battering at BV, escaped with the bonus point somehow. Picko and Chris Holder need to find an extra gear going into play offs if we are going to win them. The rest of the team have been performing as you’d expect, Jack Holder been on fire of late looking forward to seeing him against Doyle and Emil.

50-40 home win
