In this day and age where the promotions are mostly breaking even at the best, the forecast was awful to say the least, so the meeting is called off and you save money,

So what are the league cut off dates now. Already been extended once, does this mean we have another extension or do Workington now lose the opportunity to qualify?

Promoters can’t really win these days unless it’s guaranteed dry.Riders dictate and just want to put the bike in the van at the slightest raindrop.

Its crazy. That the BSN Trophy. Has not been ridden. Qualifying meetings in April/May. And still havent had the Final. Complete farce.

I’m ten minutes inland from Berwick and the rain has been mild! We brought the washing in because it is a bit damp. If the track was on my doorstep could a meeting have gone ahead? Yes!! But I’m self employed and work outside I’m at the same mercy as the promoters are. The forecast has been useless this and last year. I’ve lost many days of income because the forecasters have got it wrong. The prediction for tonight was awful and the correct decision was made, hopefully saving Workington quite a lot of money and I’d hope any team would do the same for us. It’s one thing to miss out on income because of the weather and another for it to cost you.

I traveled from Ipswich and when i arrived at the stadium at 3 it was bone dry. 
spent the afternoon in Berwick and it started to drizzle at 5. 
hugely disappointing as I was due to go to Workington today.

started to rain in Worky at 2:30pm and was on and off after that sometimes quite heavy. The forecast for today on the BBC changed last night to more sunshine and less showers so it will probably pour down this evening. Weather accuracy is still not great even with all the data fed into computer models.

Feel for you here lot of miles involved. Hugely frustrating especially after all the dry weather this summer.

Good god no. An injury to a rider and you have the same pair of riders out in every other heat.

One league will also have a huge diversity in the standard of riders. 

And playoffs keep seasons alive for more teams.

Yes keep the play offs,The top of the league at the end of the season should be called something like the league winners and the play offs can be called the play off winners or something along those lines.
