I didn't watch it, so can't comment on Zmarzlik's actual performance, he could well have gated which he's far from bad at and stuck in his position without trying to overtake any of the riders in front of him.  8 paid 9 from 4 riders is a bad night for a rider who averages 10.87 in that league.

Zmarzlik would've had another ride on the night if the meeting wasn't abandoned.

Could've ended up with 11 paid 12 from 5.

Disappointed with The Aces but you cannot win them all nor should you expect to.

I’m pleased for Ipswich and hope they go on to win the final. If other second division clubs see teams that have moved up not only do well but positively challenge then all the better. I’d rather these teams prosper than see support dwindle again to the point they need to drop down a league as we need clubs to ride against in our league.
Roll on next years play offs when hopefully normal service will be resumed - injury allowing that is. Go for gold witches and here’s to another winners medal for our super ex RS Tom.

I'm basing it off facts.

Any knowledgeable Speedway fans knows full well that Bewley and Sayfutdinov are poor gaters.

No your once again choosing. All 3 rode crap, simple as that.

All 3 were crap but 2 of them were always going to be crap in those conditions which is the point I'm trying to make here.

Pre-Meeting expectations set for Emil and Bewley were based on rider repuation, They were never going to do anything of note in those conditions GP / Ekstraliga Play-Offs or Not.

If you didn't gate you was getting filled in by bend two and both of them rarely make good gates, More often than not both riders win the majority of their races by passing riders.

all big more important meetings coming up yet it’s all Brady this Brady that.
you guys need to give your heads a wobble. Sheer jealousy that belle Vue might have another world champion in our ranks.

You need a long memory to remember the last Belle Vue world champ but good luck to Brady, nice guy, always liked him at Poole.

I see low scores there. And no doubt he will have more low scores there.

Belle Vue fans not bothered so can’t understand the other fans getting involved.

there was a would you rather poll. Aces win league. Or Kurtz become world champion it was a massive win for Brady to be world champion

Thing is though, no rider is ever judged from just one meeting, it’s normally down to a history of not being invested in certain meetings, pulling out of certain meetings etc

Brady isn’t the first and won be the last, I would say KK is probably the go to rider when it comes to picking a choosing when he can be bothered.

I try to put myself in the Belle Vue fan position, say back in the day, Lakeside were in a play off and AJ was contesting a GP final and only scored three points away prior to such final, I don’t think I would be angry, but I would be very disappointed, as even if he went onto win the series, how would that help Lakeside especially if the following season he decided to quit racing in the UK.

I think what you have to remember is, winning the league is your clubs title, a rider winning the World Championship, isn’t your clubs title, the rider is representing his country, not one of the two or three clubs he rides for every week, although it is an added bonus to say your tracking the World Championship the following season if you retain him.

If I was an Ipswich fan, Brady not wanting it, is Aces loss, and come the end of the season will be soon forgotten but I can still understand how they feel because such attitudes could easily be replicated on mass if the sport in this country doesn’t sort itself out, if clubs start to fall because riders have too much power, the whole deck of cards fall with it.

If it was Doyle who had a world championship on the line and he did what Kurtz did tonight I’d be fuming

But as you know, he wouldn’t have. Always gives 100%, considering the amount of injuries he’s had, never afraid to get stuck in, and a real pleasure to watch.

Brady isn’t great at Ipswich but the timing of the meeting has made some see a lack of effort on his part when this wasn’t the case, it was just Brady at Ipswich. What was the reason for his low scores there earlier in the season?

Last year Brady’s most important world championship meeting was the GP challenge, in some ways more important than today’s meeting as the long term financial benefits of being part of the GP circus are huge for a rider and it was something he had missed out on time and time again. The day before he won the challenge he rode unbeaten for The Aces as our captain leading us to another league title.

Rather than make up a conspiracy that isn’t there maybe focus your attention on why three of the most spectacular riders in world speedway were unable to strut their stuff in one of the most high profile meetings of the domestic season.

He only scored 7 in a league meeting for Swindon before the GP round at Teterow in 2017, when double figure scores were the norm that season. Like Brady, it was just a bad night and there is no need for bogus conspiracy theories to be made up in either of these instances.

Nonsenses this is 3 world class riders your talking about, not 1 and 2 juniors.  Emil should be doing so much better on his home track, no excuses for any of them.

Bad night…He scored 7+1 and that score included a fall while leading in one heat and then passing Masters in another. Definitely not backing off like Kurtz. Swindon were already in the playoffs, so he could have backed off with an important meeting coming up for him, but no, he just rode like he always did no conspiracy theories here, just facts.
