Unless they were guesting for Glasgow.
Mr Blobby
Well, gutted is understatement, only ourselves to blame, should’ve been out of site in the first leg. Said after the first leg we’d need to be at least 10 up going into heat 13 last night proved it. Had to take advantage of Nagel having a bit of nightmare last night but we didn’t with Grahn twice failing to beat Max Perry and MPT also failing to beat him is embarrassing. Hopefully never see him in the blue and gold again utterly awful. Thought Kye was phenomenal for us last night real shame about heat 13 with the spark plug coming loose when in a scoring position, but it’s speedway. All the best to the tigers in the final but of course hope you get pumped. 😆

Just gate and stick it on the outside to stay in front. Chris Harris said it and so did Adam McKinna. But definitely more passing last 5/6 races. Yeah. It's been a bit of a frustration for some fans second half of this season. The track isn't bad by any means, but it's not been what we're used to either. Not sure the ins and outs of why it's changed tbh. Edited 21 hours ago by Noelinho

If we don't get through the SF then hope Redcar do it just for the entertaining factor of everyone moaning about 3rd place team winning the league 😂 Agree about the Poole track, people been moaning about it for last 20 years. We are on a list with Plymouth, Leicester, Sheffield, Oxford etc.. Also Glasgow didn't have that much passing in first half of the meeting last night. Yes it was a bit gate and go early on and if thats the case it will benefit us if we make it. Our riders will know to stick to the outside, the inside only seemed to work later on with Howarth using it to good effect.
SteelShoe
A close result on aggregate but the result I expected. The Monarchs quite simply didn't have the heat leader power to see them home. Victor Palovaara is a shadow of the early season rider we witnessed while you could have bet money on Sedgy being last in heat 15. MPT never looked up for the challenge at any point which must have been a huge disappointment to the Monarchs faithfull. It would have been harsh and hugely disappointing for the Tigers if they had failed to reach the final after finishing top of the league so well done to them. They roared when Thomson and Grahn crossed the line in heat eight. They made noises all night; not only from their usual fourth bend spot, but on the back straight too. I was at Ibrox on Thursday night for the Genk match and the atmosphere at Ashfield last night was much better. You reckon Cami's a better boss than Martin, then? Hamster00
I came up last night as a neutral and I was not disappointed with what was put on show, good racing, a great crowd and a great atmosphere. The referee had a shocker, it was speedway shambles at its finest in heat 1 at the rerun with Palovaara never mind in heat 7, hats off to Kye for coming out and getting the better of Bomber in the rerun. It was completely predictable heading into heat 13 that Glasgow would walk away the victors, Edinburgh needed to be at least ten up going into the last 3. Max Perry was the match winner though, he stepped up big time with Nagel struggling and deserves all the plaudits.

Tough question, but both their post-match/meeting interviews are painful. Martin said the issue was not his tactics, but that the players were anxious. Brown said Palm Toft tried hard on Tuesday night. Both comments indicative of serious brain injuries and/or delusion.
Jez
26 plus 2 bonus points out of a maximum of 30 from his 10 rides, you have to say Kyle Howarth was the on fire over both legs, without his performance at Armadale it would have been all over after the 1st leg

He was struggling to hold on to the bike Villads is a tough kid but he had to pull out of his meeting in Germany next day to be fit for the SON Edited 1 hour ago by mac101 1
