Could and probably should have been a whole lot worse than 14 points to make up.

I reckon it is now borderline doable ,well done to Edinburgh rode the conditions better and probably deserved more off a lead.

Tigers lucky tonight. Edinburgh deserved a much bigger lead. 14 points should make Glasgow favourites given we'll have the usual 1-5 at home.

Also, the track was fine. We live in Britain. Sometimes it gets wet. The throttle modulates and yes, you can still pass. There were a few good passes tonight.

Workington, I understood. Those were fair conditions that the home side prepared to their advantage which they’re within their right to do.

However, Edinburgh couldn’t have prepared for the rain, could they?

Either way, it’s disgrace of a speedway meeting. This is two long-time Scottish rivals in a key, end-of-season fixture and what we’re watching is follow the leader.

Blur out the race suits and I’d think a few of these races were NDL heat twos. 

Glasgow are crap at gating as per usual. Seriously need to have gating as a back up, occasionally.

Maybe they should have taken 1st leg at home both times. Still think 1st leg is better at home in SF as long as you get a 12+ lead going. Playing catch up is hard work, seen teams hold on to 8 point leads comfortably before.

Can't say i expected to come away from that disappointed with a 14pt lead. I don't think it's enough but at least makes the return leg a contest which i feared it might not have been. Midway through it felt like 20 points was the minimum we would have as a lead and then after ht14 i'd have snapped your hand off for 14. That Grahn chain could cost us big time - not saying he would definitely have held off the two Tigers but it felt like a big moment.

Got to laugh at Glasgow fans moaning about why they agreed to ride tonight. They agreed because they originally had Nick Morris lined up to guest for Nagels, which would have strengthened them massively. 
 

We let them off the hook tonight, I don’t think 14 points is enough but it gives us a small chance going into the second leg.

After watching Hook virtually wave Palovaara through in heat 1 of our last visit there , the guest situation is a major worry for us . What these riders scored before there this season is no guarantee they'll do that as a guest . I can only assume we were forced into riding this fixture on a date when three of our riders were missing.

Anyway it makes the second leg slightly more interesting, but the blessed well behaved Weegies😇 (they now wear angels wings instead of scarves) should still overcome the nasty Monarchs at the best ever race track known to man😁
